Religion / Update On The Educational Scholarship For The Children Of A Widow, Mrs Afolayan by Vocnewsblog(m): 6:27am On Nov 17, 2021
Project Help a Child Global Campaign

Update on the Educational scholarship for the children of a widow, Mrs Afolayan, sponsored by the Azemobor Gregory Foundation.

6 years ago, we made a commitment to sponsor Michael and Dare, the children of a widow, Mrs Afolayan, from Primary school to university. To God be the glory, we have remained faithful to that commitment ever since then.

Few days ago, They visited us in the office, to show appreciation for our kind gesture and also to give report of their performances in school.
I am happy to announce to you, that Michael has completed his secondary school Exams and is preparing to write JAMB to gain admission into the University. And Dare is in SS3, preparing for his final Exams.

Beyond, Schooling we also encouraged the boys to learn a skilled trade by the side. Michael apprenticed as a phone technician while Dare is learning how to make shoes.

Their mother could not hide her joy as our support and mentorship is equipping the children for a better future for the family.

To God be the glory!

Beloved, we are not showing you these pictures and videos to impress you. Rather we urge you, as you see what we do, to join us to give hope to millions of indigent children out there, especially the children of widows. Look out for a poor child on the street and sponsor their education and livelihood. Trust me,It is an investment that has eternal reward.

13 million Nigerian children are out of school. You see them on the street during school time, while driving to work and you feel cool. Do you know that many children die every day from common diseases because their parents can't afford basic medicare. What about millions of malnourished children in various IDP camps spread across the country. The tales of suffering for hapless Nigerian children are endless..........

You can do something, we can do something. All it takes is a heart of love and sense of sacrifice.
That is is the core message of the Project-Help-a-Child Global Campaign.

My good brother and a fellow apostle of humanity, Benjamin Ibadin was on ground with us to host the family. Thank you bros for all your support towards our noble cause.

Religion / A Compassionate Visit To The Family Of Late Mr.emma Eke. by Vocnewsblog(m): 4:57pm On Oct 08, 2021
THROWBACK 2017...

A Compassionate Visit to the family of Late Mr.Emma Eke

The bible says “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world”. James1:27

Yesterday, The Charity City Project team visited the family of late Mr. Eke to condole and pray with his bereaved wife and children. Mr. Eke died on the 20th of August 2017 after a brief illness.
His death was a great shock to us considering the fact that he was quite hale and hearty.

You would recall Mr. Eke, the Good Samaritan who adopted some kids that lost their mother to the cold hands of death. The kids’ father, who is still alive, had abandoned them before their mother took ill and died. Mr. Eke then took custody of the four kids, since they had no one to cater for them

The story of Mr, Eke’s charitable deeds was published in the Guardian newspapers in mid 2016. The Charity City Project team who read about the story, promptly responded to Mr. Eke’s plea for public support to enable him cater for the four adopted kids added to his six biological children.
The team then facilitated the sponsorship of two of the kids: Elizabeth and Comfort. My good brother, Mr. Austin Iyoha and Paybest Ventures Ltd kindly took up the responsibility of sponsoring the kids, since last years.

During our visit to his family yesterday, we met with his wife, who was pleased to receive us. We condoled and prayed with them after which a presentation of N50,000 cheque donation was made to her as our token of love to support the family during this trying time. We also made a commitment to continue the sponsorship of the two adopted kids: Elizabeth and Comfort.

Beloved, we are not showing you this to impress you in anyway.
This is our style of practically preaching the gospel of love and compassion to the world.
We want you to be inspired by our noble charity activities, so that you too could do likewise.

Religion / Visitation to Medium Security Prisons, Kirikiri Lagos. by Vocnewsblog(m): 4:51pm On Oct 08, 2021
THROWBACK 5 YEARS AGO....

The Open Heart Samaritan Mission in partnership with Project-Help-a-Child Team paid a compassionate visit to the inmates in Medium Security Prisons, Kirikiri-Lagos, on 14th July 2016.

On that faithful Day, the Lord will say to you “I was in prison, you came to visit me”. What will be your response? Providing an appropriate response to that envisaged remark, is what motivated our missionary visit to the prisons today.
We also deeply recommend this prison visitation experience to everyone who desires to appreciate the gift of FREEDOM.
We had a wonderful time with the prison inmates; we had an affectionate fellowship with them, which gave us the opportunity to counsel some of them. As they were happy we came. From the interactions we had with them, many were mere victims of unfair circumstances perpetuated by an unjust society. From the records of inmates displayed on their notice board, about 2,500 persons are Awaiting Trial, while only about 180 persons were already convicted and are serving their jail terms.
Many of those awaiting Trials have nobody to come for their bail. Many of them who are innocent are languishing in the prisons. They have been abandoned by their families and the society to rut away.
Oh! What a cruel world!

The President of The Open Heart Samaritan Mission, Mr. Favor Omomuwa, who gave a word of exhortation to the prisoners, enjoined them to be of good courage.

When we were leaving, it was obvious to us by their smily faces that, indeed, “God” had visited them

The message:
Beloved, we plead with you to spare some time to visit this prisoners yourself, to show them compassion and love. They made a lot of request to us: They requested for financial assistance to support some of them to enroll for GCE Examination;
They need computers in their training centre;
Some of them whom their family members have abandoned need need legal representation and many more.

God is counting on YOU to help them. Your kind gesture will give them hope for a better future.

Every Child is Your Child!

7 years ago we launched the Project-Help-a- Child Global Campaign to inspire individuals and the society to cater for indigent kids, by taking responsibility for their upkeep.

The bigger vision was to help create a world where no child lives in lack.
As I look back today, 7 years after, although we have touched very few children, millions of children are still hopeless because their parents are too poor to provide for them; about 12 million Nigerian kids are out of school: many kids die every day from common diseases and malnutrition.

You can do something! All it takes is love for humanity , compassion and a heart of sacrifice to help others who are in need.
In the eyes of God, every child is your child!

Many widows and poor families are struggling to cater for their children. God is counting on you to reach out to them in love.
Remember that investment in humanity has an eternal reward!

My Children are unemployed but relentlessly struggle to do menial jobs to support the family, and due to enormous debts that were yet unsettled, I decided to re-start my petty trade with N9,000 so as to get income to help feed the family and also do daily contribution to forsee settlement of those debts".

Religion / What Is The Worth Of Your Life? By Apostle Azemobor Gregory by Vocnewsblog(m): 4:15pm On Sep 23, 2021
What is the worth of your life? By Apostle Azemobor Gregory

Albert Einstein succinctly captured the essence of life when he stated that “Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile”.
This aphorism needs to be re-echoed to a world that is precariously lost to the pursuit of egocentricity and self-aggrandizement; a world that is ravaged by the canker worm of greed and wicked self-interest. But be that as it may; let me begin this piece by giving a perspective definition of what the notion ‘worth’ is all about
The concept of ‘worth’ connotes the intrinsic value that a thing possesses and value speaks of the usefulness of one thing for another.
In other words, the value of anything is the benefit it coffers on others.

Drawing a corollary from this definition, one can posit that value is not self-serving. Its importance is measured by utility derived from it.

Now in paraphrasing the topic under discussion,
How much benefits do others derived from your life?
What utility does your life coffer on people around you?
Apart from you and your close family members, how many people have you torched positively with your life?
How many less privilege persons have you helped altruistically, knowing that they cannot repay your benevolence?
If you cannot provide answer to these questions in the affirmative, then you need a sincere re-appraisal of the worth of your life.

When God created you, He sent you to planet earth for a purpose. Your life is not an accident; you are not a happenstance. You have a specific assignment to fulfill here on earth and that is why you are here. It is also imperative to emphasize that your purpose or your earthly assignment is predicated on the value and utility that your life coffer on others.

Simply put, what you do to enhance the life of other people is the true worth of your life, but the ironic tragedy of our mortal existence is that majority of us walking through this terrestrial space, do not have the remotest idea about the purpose for our lives, and the need to serve others and live for the overall good of the society.

Together we can make the world a better place to live in.

Religion / Azemobor Gregory- Why! Why!! Why!! by Vocnewsblog(m): 4:37pm On Sep 22, 2021
Why! Why!! Why!!

❌Why would you let your accounts grow to millions while your brother's child is going barefooted?

❌Why would you put clothes you don't wear in the bin while someone out there is almost going naked?

❌Why would food rot in your house while there is someone out there sleeping hungry?

❌Why will you see a business opportunity and hide it without sharing with your friends when you know you wont use it?

❌Why will you be in a position to help someone get promotion or a new job and you keep it because the person is not from your family, tribe or religion?

❌Why will you defame your brother or sister just because you don't want someone to help them?

Why why why...........................

Until each of us become mindful of the questions above and strive in our own little ways to provide practical answers to them, the society would continue on this path of degeneracy

Religion / Put On The Light For Others To See by Vocnewsblog(m): 11:35am On Sep 13, 2021
"One day I visited a friend of mine,Thomas Mouko, who is blind. And because it was night he did something that taught me a lot.

Upon entering the house, Thomas switched on the light.
And I asked him "Thomas, why did you put on the light yet you can't see?"...Thomas laughed for a long time, switched off the light and went to the kitchen, after a short while he came with a pot of tea and eggs, placed them perfectly well on the table and switched on the light again

What Thomas said made me shed tears because he said to me, Jay Jay! ...... I did not put on the light for my own sake or because I needed it, I did it for you because you needed it since you are not blind like me".

Then he asked me, "Jay Jay!! *How many times have you switched off the light for other people and denied them an opportunity to see light just because you yourself do not need it?". I thought about that so deeply

I ask you the same question today, *How many times have you put off your lights and denied others an opportunity to see the light while they are in darkness*

❌Why would you let your accounts grow to millions while your brother's child is going barefooted?

❌Why would you put clothes you don't wear in the bin while someone out there is almost going naked?

❌Why would food rot in your house while there is someone out there sleeping hungry?

❌Why will you defame your brother or sister just because you don't want someone to help them?

These are the things we should be mindful of as Human.

It's a Throwback Thursday: 2 YEARS AGO

Join us to lift 10,000 widows and indigent mothers out of poverty!!

Another widow, Mrs Ngozi Ewelike 64 yrs old, had a reason to smile recently, as a Volunteer Group from Orkney, Scotland-Making Noise Group, presented to her the sum of N20, 000 to support her petty jewelry business

Mrs Ewelike lost her husband in 2007 to a chronic lever disease that cost them their life savings before the man finally died. Since then, life has been turbulent as she struggled to provide for herself and her 2 children without support from anybody. Although her children are grown up now, but none of them is financially stable yet to cater for her needs.
Her pathetic condition is even worsened by her her ill health. For many years now, she has been down with anthritis, which has affected her ability to move about to do her petty business.
And so it was like a dream come true when she received N20,000 to boost her petty business. Her joy knew no bounds. She was overwhelmed with tears of Joy. She was full of appreciation to our friends from Scotland-Making Noise Group, who remembered her in her moment of distress
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
Our target is to empower 10000 Widows and indigent mothers with free cash grants, to enable them to start or boost their petty businesses. The goal of this project is to economically empower poor widows to improve their livelihood and be able to cater for their families.

Mrs. Mercy Isibor a 45yrs Old Widow, Receives a Cash Donation of ₦20,000
to Support Her Petty Fruit Business

“No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another.” —
Charles Dickens
Today the team led by the leader, Mr. Gregory Azemobor @gazemobor continued their
good work of charity and lightening the burdens of others by extending
their helping hand to an industrious widow and mother of two.
Mrs. Mercy Isibor is a resident of Oloowora in Lagos state, she lost her
husband in 2010 following a prolong illness. Ever since her husband
died, life hasn’t been easy with her; she has been struggling to make
ends meet.

Narrating her story, she confides;
I started this fruit business after I lost my husband. My husband died
in 2010 following a prolonged disease. He was admitted in the hospital for three months and later died on our way back home. I have two
children, and they are all grown-ups. After my husband’s death, his
family tortured my children and me. Because of that and daily hardship I
face, I sent my children to Benin to stay with my parents. I merely
survive. I sell fruits, majorly; banana, oranges, and apples.
The widow was in tears narrating her story. The leader had to cut in and
told her not to worry that all will soon be fine.

The team decided to put smiles on her face by giving her a cash donation
of N20,000 to support her petty fruit business. Feeling so happy, Mrs.
Mercy Isibor expressed her sincere gratitude to the Voice of Divine
Truth Int’l Outreach team, and equally used the opportunity to advise
other widows to do away with adultery and other sexual immorality, but
rather, use their hands to work to feed their families.

The goal of this project is to economically empower poor widows to improve their
livelihood, and be able to cater for their families.

Religion / You Cannot Deceive God With Your Religion! By Apostle Azemobor Gregory by Vocnewsblog(m): 10:54am On Sep 03, 2021
Corey Booker’s famous quote about the hypocrisy of religion vividly encapsulates the signification of this discuss:
“ Don't speak to me about your religion;
first show it to me in how you treat other people.
Don't tell me how much you love your God;
show me in how much you love all God's children.
Don't preach to me your passion for your faith;
teach me through your compassion for your neighbors.
In the end, I'm not as interested in what you have to tell or sell as I am in how you choose to live and give”

Corey Booker’s submission did not only cast aspersion on organized religions but at the same time exposed the underbelly of their false virtue. Let me state here unequivocally that God is not the author of any religion neither does He certify or asseverate any of them. Organized religion is an invention of man and not God’s idea. I know this truth is hard for some fanatical religious folks to swallow. But before you crucify me, let me ask you some pertinent questions: why should my religion tell me that I am different from the other person simply because he or she does not belong to my religion? Are we not created by the same God, who is our father? I am asking you, answer me!

Now let me address my fellow ‘Christian brethren’ who will not hesitate to throw ‘scriptural stones’ at me for daring to utter such a ‘heretic statement’- that religion is not God’s idea. If you like you can characterize me a ‘renegade’ or a schismatic but I will stand by the truth. The truth anyway is iconoclastic; it does not posture with popular beliefs. But please do me a favour. Kindly read through the entire new testament bible and show me where Christ founded the Christian religion. None! Rather the core of his message was about the establishment of the Kingdom of God on earth and the entrenchment of the culture of love. And that was the mandate of the great commission He gave to us:

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned” – Mark 16:15-16

He was not a religious leader. He even opposed and reprimanded the Jewish religious leaders who he derisively labeled impostors. What about his disciples? They never practised the Christian religion. They were called believers and not Christians. The focus of their activities was to advance the kingdom culture on earth. Their lifestyle was strange and alien to the world system. They disrupted the capitalist economic system and redefined the concept of wealth and true prosperity.

“All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need.” –Act 2: 44-45

Christ proposed the concept of spirituality as the ideal communion with God our father

“But a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father is seeking such as these to worship Him”

He made this assertion when his disciples accosted him to contemplate the grandeur of the Jewish religious temple.

“As Jesus was leaving the temple, one of His disciples said to Him, “Teacher, look at the magnificent stones and buildings!” all these great buildings?” Jesus replied. “Not one stone here will be left on another; everyone will be toppled.” Mark 13: 1-2

His sarcastic remark underscores the preeminence of spirituality over and above nugatory man-made religion. Spirituality, essentially, is the disciplined practice of expressing the nature of the spirit of God in us. God dwells in every one of us irrespective of the religion we profess. The spirit of God in us is the ‘still voice’ that nudges us to good deeds. Some call him conscience or the voice of morality and the emotion of that spirit is compassion
.
The early apostles practised full spirituality. We were told that the Spirit of God descended on them during the Pentecost and they became different beings who were energized to preach and live the gospel. Apostle Paul even alluded to the concept of spirituality when he said:

“For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.”- Roman 8:14

Now those of you that think that belonging to a particular church denomination, attending regular church services, rolling on the ground and lifting up holy hands during worship songs, paying your offering and tithe to your church, becoming a worker in the church, doing evangelism by sharing flyers containing concocted miraculous testimonies and the picture of your pastor and his wife, would earn you express ticket to heaven, should better have a rethink about your life and get yourself free from religious bondage and deception

“Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’ “ Matthew 7: 23
Now let me show you two scriptures that will aid your spirituality and communion with God:
James1: 27
“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world."
Matthew 25:34-36
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

Beloved, you do not need to subscribe to any religion in order to be righteous, Your righteousness before God is directly proportional to your humanity. Christ preached spirituality and humanity. This was affirmed in the parable of the Good Samaritan where ‘an unbeliever’ demonstrated humanity to a fellow brother who was at the point of death. The religious leaders who saw him failed to show him love, because they were too preoccupied with their religious engagement.
Is that not what you do as a Christian today? You prefer to sow your tithe and offering to a church expecting a bountiful harvest, instead of using that same money to help the poor. Repent! God is watching you.

Finally, statistics have shown that almost everybody, out of the estimated 7.3 billion people on earth practice one form of religion or the other. Christians remained the largest religious group in the world , making up nearly a third (31%) of Earth’s 7.3 billion people, according to a new Pew Research Center. . Now, here is the paradox: How come this massive population who profess to religions that purportedly link them to one God cannot live together as one global family of humanity? Why this morbid religious acrimony? Why do we fight and kill ourselves in the name of religion? It is on record that religiously motivated wars have killed more people than any other war in history. So sad!

The time to abolish religion is now! It is an evil invention that has extirpated our common humanity.
The question I have often asked is this: is God divided? Even within Christendom, there is an alarming proliferation of church denominations to the extent that you could see five branches of the same church in one street. Let us not even talk of the mutual mistrust among churches that profess to be the followers of Christ
When I consider the level of deception and hypocrisy exhibited by those of us who avow to be Christians, I have come to the inevitable conclusion that the set of people that have done the greatest damage and disservice to the gospel of Christ are the Christians. No wonder, the great soul Mahatma Ghandi once opined,
“ I like your Christ, not your Christians, because your Christians are unlike your Christ”
Food for Thought!

Religion / You Are A Spirit That Lives In A Body by Vocnewsblog(m): 5:25pm On Sep 02, 2021
Man is essentially a tripartite being. He is a Spirit, that lives in a physical body, and he has a soul. The real you is your spirit, and not your flesh. Unfortunately, many of us are awfully ignorant of this fundamental truth about our real human nature

The Bible reveals that man was made in the image and likeness of God. The term “man” is a generic term for humanity. It means man and womb-man (woman), as well.

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” (Genesis 1:26)

“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24)

God is a Spirit. Grab hold of that. This means all human beings are first and foremost spirits, not bodies. On the inside of every living human body there is a human spirit. That is the real person, the one created in the image of God.

“But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.” (Job 32:cool
.
It is through the spirit of man that God communicates with him or her. God does not communicate with humans through their souls because He does not live in the soulical realm. God does not communicate with humans through their bodies because He does not live in the physical realm. God is a Spirit and He lives in the spirit realm. This is why He communicates with humans through their human spirits.

The soul of man is actually the mind of man. The soul is comprised of the mind, the will, the intellect and the emotions. The human soul is where the human being acquires knowledge. It is a storage and operational area for information, learning, logic, and reason. It is kind of like a hard drive on a computer only it is alive

Now we come to the body of man. The body is a dwelling place and a vehicle of expression for the human spirit. The spirit actually gives animation to the body. The body is NOT the real person. The SPIRIT is the real person. However, in order for the spirit to live in the Earth realm it must be contained within a human body. I call the human body my earth suit. You have to have an earth suit to live in the earth realm. As soon as an earth suit fails, a human spirit immediately departs for one of two places that does not require one – Heaven or Hell.

Now, beyond the above elucidation on the triune nature of man, it is imperative to state here, that your life is driven by two contending dynamics: the gratification of the desires of your ‘spirit’ or the appeasement of the cravings of your ‘ body’. Fulfillment or a purposeful life, therefore, is only attained when your life aligns with the yearnings of the spirits in the inside of you. Hence, a person is said to be ‘spiritual’ when he totally submits to the control of his spirit being, and he is ‘carnal’ when the lust of the flesh dominates his existence.

Let me quickly add here, that being ‘spiritual’ has nothing to do with the religion you profess. Spirituality is not also a ‘mystical practice’ as portrayed by some religion, it is simply an act of obedience to the ‘voice of good’ inside of you. This ‘voice of good’ is popularly called your ‘conscience’, ‘your moral compass’, that nudges you to good deeds. It pricks you each time you deviate from the path of morality. Your conscience judges every of your action, and constantly guides you toward godliness.

Spirituality, therefore, is the gateway to godliness, not religiosity. When your life is totally controlled by the ‘spirit’, you express God anywhere you go and this qualifies you to become an authentic child of God. Romans 8:16 captures this truth:
“For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God"

Again, your godliness is not a function of your religious affiliation. It is simply an expression of the ‘God’ in you, in your daily relationship with others. The good you do to others, is the only definition of godliness that I know!
Please, do not be deceived by any religion and their complicated vain doctrines. You do not need religion to access God, or to live a godly life. Listen to the ‘voice of good’ in the inside of you- that is God guiding you along the path of rectitude. The more you acquiesce to the leading of your spirit the more godly or fulfilled your life becomes.

Have you ever wondered why Africa is backward and under developed, in spite of our pervasive religiosity, and the developed countries that are not religious, are building better societies? The answer is simple: those developed countries have strong moral value system that creates a ‘godly society’ where the government is compassionate to the needs of every of her citizens, especially the weak, the poor and the vulnerable. And their godly leaders constantly strive to provide for the common good,

I have had cause to challenge many of my Christian folks, who are ‘tongue speaking, holy ghost filled and bible quoting’, that an average white man, who does not even go to church like them, are godlier. While the white man is looking for an opportunity to help someone in need, my Christian brother would rather carry a big bible to meet a man who is hungry, in name of 'evangeism', copiously quote the scriptures, and tell him to ‘give his life to Christ’. And when he is done with his 'ministration' he goes his way, with the pious feeling that he has done the 'work of God' Rubbish! Arrant nonsense. This is wickedness towards humanity that has created an ungodly religious society that we find ourselves today. Help me tell my evangelist brother: "Even the Christ you preach about, remember, he fed five thousand people during His earthly ministry". Why not do the same, if you are truly his disciple?

Bill Gate is not a christian (he is even an atheist), but he has spent over $28 billion of his net worth on charity, to support the cause of humanity. He has invested millions of dollars alone in Nigeria to support the fight against polio. His philanthropy is impacting the world. This act of nobility is godliness at its peak. Let me even shock you, God is more glorified by the life of Bill Gate, than the miserable life of your religious leaders, who collect money from the poor to build schools, and the children of the same poor people cannot attend these schools. Many of you religious folks will be shocked to see ‘sinners’ in heaven on that day.

The reality of life that we live today, especially most of us in Africa, is that, we are not conscious of the essential ‘spirit nature’ of man. This is attributed largely to the negative influence of religious falsehood that shaped our lives and society. This is tragic! Many of us are consumed by the pursuit of carnality, at the expense of our spirituality.

Apostle Paul warns in Romans 8:6-10:
“For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness”

Finally, my beloved, Let me leave you with this piece of advice: be careful about your desperate quest to satiate the cravings of your flesh. The lust of the flesh is unappeasable! You know exactly what I am talking about. The more you have, the more you want to acquire. Tame your flesh or else, it will destroy you.
“There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death”- Proverb 14:12
Albert Schweitzer, once said, “The purpose of life is to serve, to show compassion, and the will to help others”

I rest my case!

Religion / Join Us To Lift 10,000 Widows Out Of Poverty. by Vocnewsblog(m): 5:20pm On Sep 02, 2021
Mrs Cecilia is a dedicated and hardworking widow but life became sour as she finds it difficult to feed herself and her four (4) children after she lost her husband Mr Ochigbo.

Mr Ochigbo died in 2011 to a very traumatic and heartbreaking incident, he was involved in a ghastly motor accident that occurred whilst he was journeying from Jos, Plateau State after a successful promotional Course in the Nigerian Police Force (NPF).

Mrs Ochigbo faced alot of ordeals, during that trying moment she was forcefully evicted from the apartment she and her family occupied in the barracks whilst her husband was still alive.

Kindness crept in when a good Samaritan who's a retired soldier and also a landlord met her and her children by the road side,
being drained from a heavy rainfall with nowhere to go, he offered her a room apartment to stay at Cement, Agege Lagos in which she can pay the rent installmentally.

She ventured into all sorts of petty trade but has settled to selling soup items after the International coordinator of the Azemobor Gregory Foundation, Apostle Azemobor Gregory, held a counselling/ business empowerment training session with her.

Today, The Azemobor Gregory Foundation empowered and supported Mrs Cecilia Ochigbo with a free cash grant of N30,000 to start a petty soup busines.

It was a great relief to her as she received the cash grant to start a petty trade, words can't describe her exaultation as she kept on blessing the foundation and it's partners, admonishing that she will never lose hope as her story in no distant time will be a thing of the past, once she starts the soup business.

Join us to lift 10,000 widows out of poverty.

Today the Azemobor Gregory Foundation donated the sum of N30,000 to Mrs Philip Jones to re-start her petty business.

Mrs Philip Jones, is a 40 year old mother of 2 kids from Okene, Kogi state. She lost her husband, Mr Philip a police officer, to the cold hands of death in 2003.
The husband died after a strange brief ailment.

Since the death of her husband life has been miserable for her as she was forcefully ejected from the apartment they occupy in the Barracks.

She resorted to selling Hake Fish (Kpanla) as a means of livelihood to feed and accommodate herself and her children but lost business due to the Covid19 Pandemic last year.

Today when the Azemobor Gregory Foundation team presented #30,000 to her tears of joy flowed freely from her eyes as she was super elated at the kind gestures, in her words "You people have shown me too much love not regarding that I'm a total stranger".

Mrs Magreth Mathias a widow who's determined to face off all challenges being the breadwinner of her family has found strength and reasons of not giving up the fight as the Azemobor Gregory Foundation team intervened.

She's a 36 year old widow from (Ogoja) Cross River state, her husband Mr Mathias who’s a police man lost his life to the cold hands of death via an Accident in 2017 while he was returning from a special duty.

Similar to 80% of widows whose deceased husbands were military personnels, she was forcefully ejected out of their apartment in the barracks with her 3 children and is presently cohabiting with a good Samaritan.

She was able to cater for her family with the money she earns
from selling Akara (Bean Cake) and fried yam.

Today the Azemobor Gregory Foundation donated the sum of N30,000 to Mrs Mathias to boost her petty business after counseling her.

For quite some minutes, she was speechless as she didn't even know where to start her appreciation from, The empowerment came as a surprise to her as she had never received financial help since the death of her husband.

To God be the glory
