A couple, their son, and his girlfriend have been arrested for stealing from a neighbour who went on a 3-month vacation, leaving her house vacant.

Tega Teddy, 18, his parents, Mr. Uroye Teddy, 45, and Mrs. Margaret Teddy, and his girlfriend Karima Edom succeeded in stealing from Mrs Folashade Odunuga's house for weeks until the house owner's domestic help visited to carry out routine cleaning.
The house help noticed a lot of things - including the car - were missing and immediately alerted the police who began investigations and soon caught the culprits.

Confirming the incident, CSP Chike Oti, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, said in a statement:
"When Mrs Folashade Odunuga of No. 8 Ade Onitiri, Harmony Estate, Langbasa, Ajah, embarked on a 3-month vacation which commenced on May 27, 2018, little did she know that her apartment would be broken into and her household property including her car, stolen by eighteen-year-old Tega Teddy aided by his parents Mr. Uroye Teddy, 45 years old and his mother Mrs. Margaret Teddy.
"Also fingered in the offence is Tega's girlfriend, one Karima Edom, a close neighbour of the victim who allegedly passed information of the victim's absence from home to her boyfriend.

"The stealing had been going on for weeks until the victim's househelp, one Eniola Abisola visited her mistress' house and discovered that a lot of items were missing. She couldn't understand how the thieves entered the apartment as all doors to the house remained closed.

There's been a fire outbreak around the Ecobank head office in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The fire incident occurred today at about 8: 40 a.m. when a diesel tanker was offloading diesel close to a generator that was turned on. As a result, there was an explosion.
Onlookers report hearing a loud explosion three times. Fire service arrived the scene promptly and have now put the situation under control.

A young lady has been arrested for allegedly pushing her boyfriend out of a window to stop him from searching through her phone.

Adaugona Esu, 21, pushed Wilson Henry out of the window of a storey building in Ajangbadi, Lagos on July 13, 2018. His body hit the fence as he fell before he landed on the septic tank.

Henry, a Civil Engineering graduate from the University of Benin, had his neck and spinal cord broken in the fall. He died three days later at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH in Ikeja.
Adaugona, a hair stylist was living in a self-contained room with her boyfriend, one Eto, until he travelled outside the country in July 2017. After he travelled, she began dating the deceased, who neighbours said usually spent days with her in the apartment before leaving.

A SUCK TO DEATH

It had been a long day; my back ached from all the bending and stretching I had done today. I really just wanted to sleep but he just wouldn’t allow me; you know how they are. Oh, I love him dearly! With everything in me, I love my baby but what was I to do in such a state?
Tired, haggard and smelly, I would have preferred to take a soothing bath first but well he didn’t let me. But his crying increased and I had no choice but to carry him. He started tugging at my blouse; oh this son of mine! I knew what he wanted but couldn’t he wait a little while? Did you say I’m his mother? Of course I am. I know I’m his mother! But a mother was tired and at the point of fainting, couldn’t I have gotten a bit of rest?

Reluctantly, I pulled down my blouse, gently let out my milk-heavy b----t and placed a n----e in his mouth. Oh, did he lap at it! I laughed as I watched him suck so eagerly, as the milk continued to flow freely into his mouth. I decided to rest my back against the bed and cuddled him closer, giving him better access to my b----t. He put his tiny hands on it as if to clutch it and drag it more into his mouth. Oh, my little darling. Such a bundle of joy and laughter, I thought.

It must have been an hour before I knew what had happened, perhaps less or more. I was walking down this lush garden, the scent of roses dominating my nose and filling my heart and mind with thoughts of love. I had never felt so relaxed in a long while and I skipped around the gardens, stopping to touch this tree or admire that flower. The ambience was peaceful and the atmosphere was inviting. I loved it here. I started to walk over to a quaint little seat that had glasses of what appeared to be warm milk on the tables around the seat. I think there were little muffins as well, I’m not sure though. I sat down and sighed heavily, this is what peace really is, I thought.

Reaching for a sip of the glass content, I suddenly heard a loud cry, sounded like a baby to me. My first instinct was to stand up but it was too peaceful to get stressed over a baby; moreover, it was not my baby, was it? I tuned out the second bout of cry, this time sharper, and forced myself to have a drink of the warm milk. As it reached my throat, I began to choke!
How could I choke on warm milk? Was this possible? As I dropped the glass to try to calm myself, I felt like the milk was being poured into my mouth at an alarming fast rate and I couldn’t get it to stop. What is this? I struggled to stand up again but I felt glued to the seat.
It seemed like hours before I eventually calmed down and by the time I did, I woke up to shouts around me. Was this still in the garden or had that been a dream? It wasn’t up to a minute when I finally came back to consciousness. “My baby! Where is Jola? He was sucking at my b----t just now but…” I looked up to find my husband cuddling my baby and reached for him but the others around would not let me. “I want to hold my baby! Who is his mother, is it me or you?” I was shaking from the dream I had just had and I wanted to hold my Jola but they wouldn’t let me. Why? Continue Reading Here

Ronaldo over alleged Tax Fraud. Cristiano Ronaldo has been accused of defrauding
Spanish tax authorities out of €14.7million.

Prosecutors in Madrid have filed a
complaint with a court in Pozuelo de Alarcon in which they accuse the Real Madrid star of a
“voluntary” and “conscious” breach of his tax obligations, news agency EFE has said. Ronaldo is alleged to have created a “business structure” in 2010 to conceal his earnings from image rights between 2011 and 2014, according to a letter sent to the court by the prosecutor’s office.

The Real Madrid named by Forbes this month as the world’s highest-paid athlete is claimed to have defrauded the Public Treasury out of a total of €14,768,897. Gestifute, the company owned by Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes, has so far been unavailable for comment.

Ronaldo moved to Madrid in 2009 after
Manchester United accepted a then-world record transfer offer of £80m and since then the player has won major accolades. He has won 11 major trophies in his time in Spain,

Yesterday i was in the sitting room watching a program called China24 on CCTV NEWS, an electric lamp manufacturer was interviewed together with his workers in his factory. The workers are kids between the ages or 12-18 the most beautiful part of it was that the kids can on their own manufacture same.

Now let's come down to Nigeria. Nigerian students are busy searching for "x" while students in the developed countries are manufacturing things for the development of their country.


In Nigeria, our engineering students spend nearly all their time solving difficult equations and searching for "x". In Nigeria, students will be asked to search for "x" I do smile and ask myself how can we use Algebra and simultaneous equation to boost the economy.

How can we use the located "x" to solve the challenges facing us? In Nigeria, teacher will draw a circle having dots in it on the chalk board and tell the kids "this is an Orange" imagine.
In Nigeria, a teacher will be in the class room using acid to change litmus paper to red on the chalk board. In fact, in Nigeria the best place to mix acid with base is on chalk board.


In Nigeria, a teacher will be in the class teaching rock and it types and expect the students to be able to identify them in real sense how possible? However, the above are some of the reasons why at 50+ as an oil producing country we are still importing tooth-pick and matches. Our brain has been channel to the fact that failure to go to school will end one up as a domestic servant of the educated ones which I seriously disagree with.

We can't all be in the class room at the same time and expect us to catch up with the developed countries, it never done; we will keep depending on them with such barbaric idea.
Let those that are willing to go into sport be on the field or track not in class room, Christiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid FC was expelled from school at the age of 14 and today he is a world footballer.

Let take those that are good in construction to factories or workshops not class room. Let's take away pen from our engineering students and send them out of class.
Let's take away pen from those that are willing to take hoe, cutlass, hammer, saw, screw driver etc.
Our too much dependent on pen is sending us backward.

To me, spending 5, 6 or more years in tertiary institution is nothing but a total waste of time, 3 years is enough for engineering courses.


12 calender month is enough for food related courses and 3 or 4 years is enough to be a lawyer. Imagine our youth spending 8years of their lives in university and still our Government don't trust on their expertise rather they travel out of the country.


At this juncture, I will like to call on the government at all level to look into this and find a lasting solution to it. Lastly our government should stop sending the talented ones away by sending them aboard for training and failed to establish/
provide where they will be discharging what they've learnt or the skills they've acquired upon their arrival.
If we can do this, I believe that few years to come Nigeria will be the greatest country of the world while others will be on
the queue at our back.
