A businesswoman, Alhaja Serifat Adisa, and two 9-year-old boys were killed by gunmen suspected of being kidnappers at Idere in Oyo State's Ibarapa Central Local Government District. The Chief Executive Officer of the Subawa filling station, Alhaja Adisa, was killed on Saturday night, January 2, along the Igboora/Idere route. The gunmen stormed the filling station, according to the article, and violently pulled the woman into the woods, where she was later found dead at around 11:00 p.m. The children and the woman were waiting around the gate of the Subawa filling station for a commercial motorcycle to take them to Idere, according to a man who identified himself as the boys' uncle.
