Pls i need to know where one can carry out an echocardiogram in lagos, and what is the cost (range) like?

Siena: This was my old address, where I lived back in 2008/9. I got burned by this woman back then, and lost a lot of money. She's so convincing when she lays down proposals, against my better judgement, I believed everything she said.

My address was retained without my permission, it's only when she went "dark", stopped responding to my calls and she moved onto other victims, I realised she hadn't removed my address from her Companies House registration. I had to contact Companies House to get Pinkequity struck off the register.

I hope those currently involved with her get their money back. I didn't, and ended up writing the lot off. I also know the others involved back in 2009 never got their hard-earned back either. That included two other Nairalanders, as well as her accountant here in the UK.

She has never worked alone (i mean in the whole scamming episode) people ignorantly get roped in.

Take for instance---She owes you 100k and i'm about to make an order worth 50k. She says i pay the money into your account---You get a part refund, my order gets stuck (she goes dark)***** WHO WOULD I HUNT NEXT YOU!!!

If Airemons case is solved what happens to other people!!!


Others might not want to settle for just the money being paid back!!!

From the little i've read and heard---she is not clean.

The shocker is she has scammed both in and outside Nairaland.

I'm patiently waiting for one person to come out and tell the entire Nairaland about his ordeal with her. (I doubt if he would though---but he just might)

Abuloma Girls have alway been wild all along. In 1999, my elder sis was a hostel captain and she dare not confront her mates when they were "fagging" as in bullying junior girls. this led to d death of a student in hostel. All SS3 students were deboarded. My parents withdrew my younger sis immediately. There were cases of SS3 girls bringing in boys to terrorize mostly SS2 girls usually during what was called "RED NIGHT" (nite when ss3 girls fight, bully, n injury students of lowere forms mostly during the final stages of WAEC and later NECO). I guess that was usual in all girls schools cos it also happedn in my school in a different state.

There are a few reasons why you may think that they do.

1. Chances are, you didnt exactly grow up in Nigeria. Thus, your perception of beauty is skewed (as everyone's is) to favour what you see around you (in the media, most especially). So, to you, a beautiful black woman is a woman who looks like (chances are,); your mom (when she was younger), Beyonce, Halle Berry, Gabby Union, Nia Long, Janet Jackson and the likes. This, and your experiences with black females growing up, would have influenced the way you judge a black woman's beauty. Now, if you were to go to Nigeria, and see females, they're needless to say, going to differ from that (and you're likely to find them unattractive), which brings me to the next point.

2. The lifestyle in Nigeria is different. It is from my experience that even the way folks wear makeup back home is slightly different. And since make up is what most females use to enhance their beauty, it is no suprise then, that you're less likely to find females back home attractive (because by the way they wear makeup, they dont look like the folks you consider beautiful).

3. Your expressions, mannerisms and such, affects the way you look. When I see a Naija dude, and say he got "swag", its certainly different from when the kind of swag an American would have. For example; a dude dancing alanta in Naija may be considered cool to some, but imagine if a dude was to dance like that in the western world; it'd be a little weird. Beauty isnt only subjective, it also varies wherever you go.

4. Globalization is messing us all up badddd in numerous ways. One of these, is that it has opened up our (Africans et. al.) eyes, and made us feel (in various ways), inferior. Folks back home tend to want to mimic what the westerns do, by wearing similar clothes, acting as they do, and even trying to mimic their idea of what beauty is. Unfortunately, most people in Nigeria cant afford that sort of lifestyle, so alot of them end up looking like a big ball of boiling hot mess when they do; hence why they may not look as good to you.
