One of the Chelsea fans who hurled racist abuse at Manchester City player, Raheem Sterling, has expressed disappointment at his action.

The man, 60-year old Colin Wing, said he has lost his job as a result of his action, though what he did for a living has not been made clear.

He also said he never used racist words but only called the player a Manchester C**t.

Mr Wing and other fans were seen hurling insults at the England International as he went to pick the ball. Sterling claimed he heard racist abuse coming from the stands.

Mr Wing said:

“I am deeply ashamed by my own behaviour and I feel really bad.”

“Nobody around me said they heard anything. I want to apologise unreservedly to Raheem and hope he can be a better man than I am by accepting it.

“Even if it wasn’t racist, it’s not right what I said.

“I was completely out of order but I’ve lost my job and my season ticket so now everybody’s got what they wanted. So why can’t they leave me alone?”

Gambian actress, Princess Shyngle has been hospitalized in Lagos after attempting to commit suicide. The actress was rushed to the hospital by a neighbor who saw her in critical condition after she took overdose of a medication and also drank bleach.

She was rushed to Vedic Life care Hospital in Lekki where she is currently recuperating at the emergency room.

The doctors at the hospital have been able to stabilize her for now, but her blood pressure keeps going up. The reason behind her action is unknown for now.

TVC presenter, Morayo Aka-Bashorun, has stated that her husband is not a pedophile. She said this to clarify her comment which she made Yesterday about not letting her husband bath their daughter despite trusting him.

On her TV show Yesterday, Morayo Akabashorun said:

”As much as we are trying to identify the evils out there, let us not endanger our families by living in constant suspicion of our husband and the possible threats they pose to their daughters. If you trust him, don’t see him, as a potential threat.

I actually trust my husband but I’m just being careful because people that have experienced this kind of situation, also trusted their husbands and yet, it happened.

I absolutely trust my husband but I won’t take chances and have him bathe my daughter, because whether we like it or not, there is something flying in the air these days that is encouraging imbalance and immoralities. ”

The statement from the Your View presenter drew lots of criticisms from people who think she indirectly labeled her husband a pedophile. Responding to the reactions, Morayo Aka-Bashorun shared a video on Instagram in which she stated that her husband is not a pedophile.

”My husband is not a pedophile, he’s a highly responsible, decent man. He can never do anything to hurt any of his children.

Psychology has told us to teach children to respect their personal spaces and ensure that family members don’t come too close.

We need to define what is too close as a child.

So, I’m glad the conversation has started, I’m glad we’re talking about it. Let us understand that these are real life issues that are happening.”

Kemi Olunloyo has held a news conference for Davido’s alleged abandoned first daughter, Mitchell Adeleke. Since the child was born 5 years ago, Davido has denied being the biological father.

Despite DNA test result showing that the singer is not the biological father of the little girl, Kemi Olunloyo still believes otherwise.

According to her, the Adeleke family were the ones who paid the doctor that carried out the test, hence some discrepancies must have occurred leading to a doctored DNA test result.

A mum has shared photos of her son who died 14 weeks into pregnancy. The woman, Sharran Sutherland, shared the photos to prove he is a real baby after doctors called him medical waste.

The images show the four-inch-long little boy, who weighed just 26 grams, with fully-formed face, hands, feet and even fingernails.

The son whom they call Miran was buried in a flowerpot under a hydrangea bush. His parents were allowed to take him home to bury because he could not legally be classified as a baby until 20 weeks old.

Sharran however lamented that she wasn’t given the chance to properly morn her son Miran who was never legally a child – only a fetus.

She said:

“Looking at him, holding him in my hand, looking at how perfectly formed he was, I was amazed.

“I just couldn’t believe how perfect everything was on him. His ears, his tongue, his gums, his lips. I couldn’t believe it.

“You have those baby books that show you diagrams of a baby in utero but he didn’t look like anything I had ever seen. I was just filled with such awe and amazement with him.

“He just needed to continue maturing and growing and developing. It blew me away. It was an incredible feeling. It’s really hard to describe.

“Even though he had died, I was given that chance to hold my baby still. That longing was fulfilled. I was grateful for that. I couldn’t fathom it.

“This world has done a great job at dehumanising unborn babies. The abortion industry has done a great job at that but it doesn’t just affect women who are getting abortions.

“It affects women who have lost their babies too – because the world doesn’t view their children as babies.

“So when a woman loses her unborn child she’s not able to grieve in the same way as a woman who gave birth to a baby that dies after being born.

“When a woman loses her unborn baby it’s almost like you don’t speak of it. A woman goes through it alone and I believe that’s because other people don’t recognise it as a human, as a baby.

Comedian I Go Dye has stated that Nigerian workers are the most used in the world as he lent his voice to the demand for an increase in minimum wage in Nigeria.

Different labour groups have threatened to go on strike if their demands of N30,000 minimum wage is not met. They have advised Nigerians to stock their homes with food and needed materials ahead of the the strike which they say will begin on the 6th of November.


Reacting to the call for a new minimum wage, comedian I Go Dye compared the treatment Nigerian workers are getting to what their counterparts in the rest of the world are getting.

In a country when legislators,Governors and ex governors Continue to receive sitting allowances even when they don’t seat.while the Governors are entitled to security votes that is used at discretion,they all have agreed to treat the Nigeria workers with disdain.

If the Governors cannot pay workers minimum wage as advocated by NLC let them resign and allow those that can pay take up their job. They all continue to collect their entitlements while the Nigerian workers are neglected to their fate.

Russian billionaire and owner of Chelsea FC, Roman Abramovich is the proud owner of Eclipse, a super-yacht which comes with two swimming pools and a missile-defense system.

Abramovich is currently domiciled in Israel and hasn’t been able to watch his Premier League club play since the start of this season due to visa issues. The British government failed to renew his papers in May.

Seven of his properties in the UK remain unoccupied, including two houses in Lowndes Square, Belgravia, together worth more than £150 million.

The Chelsea owner however spends most of his time in his most lavish and extravagant residence the ‘super-yacht Eclipse’ which cost about KSh38 billion as at 2010 when he bought it.

He spends close to KSh130 billion overall in upgrades and maintenance for the yacht (533ft) which is more than twice the size of the pitch at Stamford Bridge. It was the biggest yacht around when he bought it.

Eclipse has nine decks with two helipads and a garage. On the eighth deck is a swimming pool and a sundeck. Each cabins in the yacht come with a private 6ft home cinema screen, a Jacuzzi, spa and specialised security systems.

The Eclipse also has a huge gym and spa area with a beauty salon, sauna and massage room. Lower decks contains the suites and cabins that can house 32 guests and 100 crew.

Designer Terry Disdale remembers the day his amazing creation was launched:

“Although you design every part of it and you see it being built, nothing prepares you for the feeling you get when you actually see it in the flesh.”
