During the 2015 elections, I worked with INEC (Adhoc) as a presiding officer (PO), one of my assistants, a married man told me he had been working with INEC as an Adhoc staff since 1999- dude was so proud of it, told me how much he enjoyed at every election- won’t be surprised if he will also be working with INEC on the 16th.again

I have learnt to always respect experience. I worked at Lagos island which meant I needed extra caution. INEC had told us the first thing to do was to remove every poster at our poling unit, so when I arrived, the first thing I wanted to do was to tear all the posters- I was the aggressive guy who was determined to do everything right at his polling unit. Luckily for me, this guy was able to spot my action early and dragged me back. He said, “I like you, I know that was what INEC told you but don’t ever do that here or you can hear the sound of cutlass at your back”

So he asked me to speak to the area boys around to tell me APC and PDP supporters around, then ask an APC member to help me remove the APC posters and same for PDP posters. I was shocked when I approached the first guy who told me he was already watching to see which poster I would remove first so they would know where my allegiance was and know how to handle me- I was shocked.

INEC had also told us we would have security, well there were police officers at my unit. The officer was quick to tell me that we should be calm that his superior was shot the night before.

"More like oga kamdan o, use your head, if anything happens here, na me go first run"

Police officer was already gisting with the area boys, he had gotten a bottle of beer. I knew there was no security, atleast not from the police

Well, when you get to the field, things are hardly as INEC said so if you are working with INEC on the 16th, be very calm and wise as you approach your polling unit, don’t return home with injury, or please return home alive. This election isn’t worth anybody’s blood.

The question is very correct
1. Valid votes = 100+100+80+60= 340
2. Rejected votes = according to question 500 registered voters and they issue 500 ballot paper ( i.e they give out 500 ballot paper to all the registered voters if 340 is valid then the rejected will be 500-340=160).
3. Unused ballot paper = 0 because all the ballot paper was issued ( given out).

Bro I also did UBA test in Lagos last month and I was also invited for another test in Ibadan, hope the system won't detect that have done the test in last 6 month since is not in Lagos am doing it this time around
