With the way certain sections of the country believe so much in this project despite its suspicious outlook.

What if the project turns out to be a white elephant project, or one that takes decades to finish like the LAGOS badagry after so much as been pumped into it.

What will those people say and do eventually?

Look the way Nigeria is being run is sick,at this rate, this nation will forever be crawling.

The most populous black nations and it's constituent tribes especially the major ones will be looked at as black fools.

There's so much to do with little funds yet there's so much waste.

Tinubu better deliver,he is carrying the legacy of the southwest on his shoulder as concerns Nigeria,he brought in Buhari who failed totally and embarrassingly.

If tinubu fails also not only will Nigeria be severely impaired but the southwest will loose all legitimacy and bragging rights.

There's no escaping this.

The southwest will be held responsible for Nigeria,if tinubu fails as they have held the most significant portion of nigerias leadership from 1979 Obasanjo, 1999 Obasanjo, yemi osibanjo VP,to TINUBU now, it's a path they willingly chose.

The citizens need to ensure it does not fail.

I personally believe the project is mired in too much controversies & redflags. But since the government has insisted it goes ahead, then the citizens must hold them to account.

Of course, the real enemies of Nigeria, those who do not want this government to be held to account, would soon come with thier racists chants and innuendos to distract sane and patriotic citizens from asking questions.

They did that for 8 years under bubu and we are all witnesses to the disaster the man turned out to be. Though they have reinforced and added racism to thier repertoire of attacks, those who wish Nigeria well will continue to speak up & hold government to account.

All those who expected the projects to fail would be disappointed.

Infact, they would be alive to witness the completion of the same road

At worst the Lagos section of the project will be completed.

Lagos State earnestly needs this project to make the city more modern and open up more leisure and hospitality businesses, ease further transport issues and connect the Free trade zone to a 10 lane highway.

Lagos needs to compete with modern cities globally.

At what cost? At the cost of so many other pressing issues, with trillions pumped into it.

It wudnt even make much difference in the modern outlook of the state.

Take for example the 10 lane badagry express, though the project is good, but the look of the area hasn't changed much so far, every still looks shabby.

It takes more than just building a road, better modern housing, better built shops, decent parks etc are needed.

Yet they are pumping unaccounted trillions into the project with a ten year timeline for completion.

It's not fair at all

The LAGOS rail project is essentially a failure,it took too long at too high a cost,a lot better things wud have been done with the money

Eh. 1/8 truth.

It was financed from budgetary allocation, Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas dividends, Recovered Funds (Locally and Internationally) and other third-party capital.

How much was the cost of the 2nd Niger Bridge? Comparing the coastal road to the 2nd Niger Bridge is like comparing the cost of a bicycle to a car.

The coastal road is just gonna be Lagos. Lets watch and see

Okay, but Yoruba is just one tribe out of over 300 tribes in Nigeria and one,out of 300 can't do anything.

So help us list the other tribes that contribute to bad leadership in Nigeria and the percentages of their contributions.

It's now you know they are one of the 300 ethnics groups, but at other times you people disclaim the rights of small ethnic groups.

Yoruba are a major group, one of the pillars of Nigeria.
Their support for bad leadership is detrimental across board , carries weight and determines the course of Nigeria.

Moreover, the Yoruba personalized TINUBU if I may use that phrase despite his personal agenda, they took him as theirs and castigated anyone that spoke against him.

They did the same for Buhari.
Buhari totally failed.

We sincerely hope TINUBU would not but if he does.

The Yoruba legacy will forever be in the mud.
They will have no claim to responsible leadership and will share equal blame for the failure of NIGERIA with the hausa-fulani,as both groups have ruled Nigeria the longest.

This Nigeria, we all spoilt it together.

Babanginda, Gowon, and Abacha are not even Hausa neither are they Fulani. They are all minorities.

You are talking too much ,without answering the question.

We have heard and accepted Yoruba are bad, evil and guilty of any crime you accused them of. However, you need to list other tribes in Nigeria and the percentage of blames that you apportioned to them e g
