I was just relaxing with a cup of coffee when this came to my mind, and I decided to seek the opinions of our honorable ladies on this forum.

You see, I have worked with various companies and have had both male and female bosses. I always ended up having unpleasant experiences with the female bosses. There is this particular manager who stands out in my mind like a sore thumb when writing this. She would always come to work moody and ready to transfer aggression at the first staff member who greeted her with, "Good morning, madam."

It turned out she was having marital problems with her husband as a result of being barren, and we had to suffer at work because she was fond of transferring her aggression. Unfortunately, I turned out to be her favorite staff member and assistant manager. After work, she would stay back to play games on her work laptop, and she would never allow me to leave. I had to stay with her until 9 PM every single day.

I remember clearly telling her that I got a new job and was leaving. She was so angry and excluded me from departmental meetings. That was just one experience; I went on to have countless unpleasant experiences with female bosses at work. Now, I prefer to work with male bosses. This is not to say I discriminate against women in the workplace; it’s just my experience.

Surprisingly, I realized most of my female colleagues do not like working under a female boss. Nine out of ten ladies I interviewed would prefer a male boss. Despite how some people believe men to be the devil, I can bet that most NL females, when given the option, would readily accept a male over a female boss. Why is that so? In one instance, I was told that female bosses are always hard on their fellow gender. Is this true?

Can you share your experience working with a female boss? How has that worked for you? Also, to the ladies of NL, is it true you ladies do not prefer working under each other?

Be honest, okay?

I found this online, could there be any thruth to these:

There are several reasons why some females might dislike having female bosses. These reasons can vary widely and might include both personal and systemic factors:

Perception of Competitiveness: Some women may feel that female bosses are more competitive or less supportive of other women. This perception can stem from societal expectations and pressures placed on women to succeed in male-dominated environments.

Higher Expectations: Female bosses might hold other women to higher standards, either consciously or unconsciously, to prove their own competence in a leadership role. This can create a more challenging work environment for their female subordinates.

Lack of Mentorship: Women might expect more mentorship and support from female bosses and feel disappointed if those expectations are not met. When this support isn't forthcoming, it can lead to resentment and dislike.

Work-Life Balance Assumptions: Female bosses might make assumptions about their female subordinates' priorities and work-life balance, which can lead to misunderstandings and frustration on both sides.

Stereotyping and Bias: Both male and female employees might internalize societal stereotypes that suggest women are less effective leaders. These biases can affect how female bosses are perceived and treated in the workplace.

Personal Experience: Previous negative experiences with female bosses can shape a person's attitude towards future female leaders. One or two bad experiences can lead to generalizations and biases against female bosses in general.

Cultural Factors: In some cultures, traditional gender roles and expectations can make it more difficult for women to accept female authority figures. This cultural backdrop can influence workplace dynamics and relationships.

Miscommunication: Differences in communication styles between female bosses and their subordinates can lead to misunderstandings and conflict. Women might interpret the same behavior differently when it comes from a female boss versus a male boss.

Support Networks: Women might feel they have stronger support networks with male bosses, who may be seen as more likely to champion their career advancement in male-dominated industries.

Internalized Sexism: Internalized sexism can cause women to doubt the competence of female leaders, leading to a lack of trust and respect that they might not apply to male leaders.

Comparing a man to a woman in this life is preposterous. Women are weaker emotionally, and even physically, forget their gra gra. You will hardly see a lady who can balance worklife without indulging family matters. Most of them tend to carry their family problem on top their head to their workplace. They might not say much about their family but their actions, attitude speaks otherwise i.e; transferring aggression on others, being moody or sad, etc. Unlike men, they hardly talk, they can face difficult situations and still be smiling.
Another angle is the fact that women always want to prove that they are incharge, and this is why cannot handle positions or power.

You would have to get close to a man to understand and know his problem unlike a woman. And this is part of why we have a lot of bitter ladies who refer themselves as "feminists".

As our Ancestors would say "It is very hard to identify a suffering man, but very easy to notice a happy woman".
