This is never supposed to be a gender based controversy to be honest.

I think that's the way men are designed by nature, to be the provider most of the time.

I grew up helping relatives and distant relatives, when those one start feeling entitled, I shift to helping random strangers and what I have learnt so far for the most part is, most ladies will not assist anyone not remotely related. This is from my personal experience and interactions and may be proven wrong and I will appologize.

For me, it's really no big of a deal, you cannot force help out of people.

I can still cope with a stingy person afterall, they worked for their money but I cannot cope and absolutely despise an individual who feels entitled to someone else's money.
