If Lagos will join or not join , it will be decided by us in Lagos. Even at 1st Republic, Lagos was not part but had to get enough lands, including the capital Ikeja, carved out from the defunct Western region.
If we get to that bridge, we will sort ourselves as a family as usual.

Abeg o, this is funny to me o. First, the Lagos state government deported 350 Osun state indigines back to Osun for constituting nuisance and begging in Lagos . Now, the same Lagos has made it known to everyone that cared to listen that Lagos will not be part of Western region . Please, why is Lagos dis-associating herself from the other south west state ?

We understand that Lagos is the only big state in South west with massive IGR. But why is Lagos making it look like other Yoruba states are inferior to her?

I think with this declaration by Lagos that the state won't be part of Western region, it is now safe to say that Lagos is no longer a Yoruba land.
