For visa purposes, It’s only compulsory if you’re below 18. I did not submit anything concerning accommodation and I got approved.

It’s only at the border it’s required before entry into the country.
How long did it take for your approval ? and what airline did you use or are you using

Are they? Please plug me.
Yes, compared to Dublin and cork. Check sites like daft . ie, accommodation . ul . ie, hostingpower . ie . Lots of option, but I can't even do anything yet without the visa decision other than just sightsee. And that's literally the point of us applying early so we can go there, get accommodation and settle in a bit before school resumes. Now if you get the approval, everything will enter rushing. Tireddddd mannn.

Only 35 decisions this week, when there are hundreds of people waiting. 35 decisions in a week is only about 5 decisions per working day if you spread it across five days. For a major visa office handling a country as large as Nigeria including some West African countries, that feels painfully slow.
Broo it's ridiculous. Idk how Indians process is way faster even though they have significantly higher applicants each year. This is my 14th week since embassy received now and it's tiring. especially when classes starts in 2 weeks or less.

Kindly, did anyone here mail the embassy and got a response? Not the generic response. This is my 14th week of waiting. My school resumes in three weeks. It's getting frustrating.

I heard this is only happening in Africa especially Nigeria. Other country applicants don't wait this long
Similar boat. Submitted 19th may, got to embassy 25th may, been processing ever since. what school did you file for though ?

Please put me through on how to create customer service account...

I have printed coloured copy of my international passport but they are not accepting it for verification....

Mine is 11 weeks now... The offer letter I submitted to embassy is having first of September as resumption though school has updated to 14 of September but there's not way to even send to Embassy
You can use other id's. I used my drivers license. Although the signup process looks straightforward, but for reason you'll typically get errors and have to do it over and over again.

You have to start mailing or calling them

It's way beyond their normal processing time.

They can't just hold unto someone's passport without giving the person a decision for 13 weeks.
I have, it's the same generic "This application is in queue for processing" . Genuinely tired.

The wait Time within the last year has been increasing. Been 13 weeks since embassy received, and I haven't heard anything since, it is well. Anyone going to limerick this September ?
