Onyedika is one of the most gifted midfielder in that team and you don't play him, how can you win games when you leave your best player in the bench
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 123jamessmith: 11:14am On Nov 22, 2025
Iwobi is the most culprit. That guy should be coming from the bench.. but I was surprised when the coach started benching moses Simon. He should have do the same for iwobi
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 123jamessmith: 8:27pm On Nov 18, 2025
If the coach want success, is time he start searching for good player around Europe. Forget where they are playing. They are many Nigeria footballers scattered around Europe that will do well when they play for the Nationa team.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 123jamessmith: 5:57pm On Nov 18, 2025
The first player to be dropped from the team is Iwobi that guy is too stylish for Africa football.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 123jamessmith: 9:44am On Nov 17, 2025
Na NFF cost this one sha. I remember he took NFF 4months if not more than to hire a substantial coach, they talk to former Swedish coach, even this other coach that has won the Nation cup with 2 different countries, at the end the NFF brought Finidi George. That's the point I know that Nigeria football is doom.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 123jamessmith: 9:15am On Nov 17, 2025
If you watch the game yesterday, the game plan was on even in the first half the team was balance. Second half I didn't see oshimen again the game just change.. I don't really know what happen. But sincerely, it's not the coach fault. The game plan was distrusted. At that point he had just little to do
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 123jamessmith: 8:44am On Nov 17, 2025
Terrible players indeed. Is it not the same terrible player Eric chelle managed that got us this far. You think there's any coach in the world that can be perfect

SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 123jamessmith: 7:38am On Nov 17, 2025
So many matches iwobi has failed to delivered and he's always in the match day squad. That guy is one of the biggest culprit of failure in our team. As long as we continue to use iwobi in that midfield the team will never go places. We need rugged players.
Is a shame the coach did not invite uche.. uche would have even do well in that attack more than Tolu. I have never rated that tolu guy
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 123jamessmith: 11:10pm On Nov 16, 2025
Nigeria has good midfielder I don't know if chelle is afraid to use them.. chrisantus uche will even do well in attack than this tolu guy.. but you fail to invite him
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 123jamessmith: 11:09pm On Nov 16, 2025

A good coach will know that's plan for the game has already failed. He just need to keep the balance and hope for a break. You don't need wingers, put more men in that midfield. Try and frustrate Congo
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 123jamessmith: 9:34pm On Nov 16, 2025
The coach wouldn't have removed lookman and chukwueze since no ishimen

Why is the coach afraid to bench iwobi for so many times iwobi has failed to deliver in the team. Just take a look at the match against Garbon ndidi would have gotten so many assist in that match, that suppose to be the work of iwobi.
Seriously, I have the believe that ndidi can even do the work of iwobi, then the coach can play onyenka to assist the defenders.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 123jamessmith: 7:32am On Nov 14, 2025
Nobody is talking about Ndidi performance yesterday. You can see why the coach still put is faith on him, he's the best defensive midfielder in the team.

Uche is a very good player the coach would have included him. But when it comes to midfield play alhasan is a beast forget where he play. If you watch his games alhasan is everywhere in the pitch, if he's not tackling, is pressing to win possession. How many players have that kind of work rate . You guys don't see what the coach is seeing. In the case of olusegun, he's a very strong player. How many quality wingers are even doing well in Europe
