First off Iran doesn't have early warning systems close to Israel so even if Israel fire a missile from their territory there is no way Iran will know and that itself won't guarantee absolute kill as there are chances the target would have move before it arrives.

What the Israelis does is use long endurance spy drone that are always loitering and strike from outside protected airspace once the the command is issued.

Like I said some few days back all Iran need to do is get similar capabilities and the threat will stop sin you know if I get hit, so will you. Though Iran to have gotten their drone with similar features and they have not perfected their weapon and isr system yet.
