NAFDAC insists that the dipyrone contents in the drugs administered on a 12 year old pupil led to her death. The National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control NAFDAC yesterday announced a ban on Novalgin, Analgin and other existing brands of dipyrones, tablets and syrups in the country.

Also affected are Optalgin, Drunalgin, Dr. Meyers Novalmin, Akarin and other brands of Dipyrone said to be manufactured in Germany and imported into the country. The ban will take effect from January 1, 2006.

NAFDAC is sensitive to what we eat and drink. Cancer is a very deadly disease which every one should be careful on how he or she handles his life. What you eat and drink and how you take those things matters a lot.

Check well on how you expose your skin to dangerous rays and body creams. Ladies should always pay attention on their breast as often as possible. Details on information concerning cancer, please visit
