kaykay100:Hello. This piqued my interest, but as much as you might want to stay anonymous, that should be for a specific time. With the whole catfishing debacle et Al. No one would feel safe chatting or communicating with you for months without having an inkling who you are. Also, you can't remain on NL for long it's too public & in personal and any tech person worth their salt cant come to NL that lacks alot of basic security protocols and start spilling their life, ideas etc with you. That being said, I can deduce you an up coming web designer and you are trying to use this avenue to connect with like minded people yh? Anyways, this fine Abuja guy is interested. |
Thanks, sorry for disturbing you. |

For those who may not know, sleep may just have been murdered in Marina as United Bank for Africa (UBA) big boss, Tony Elumelu has played the game he alone knows best. This time, he has succeeded in kicking out a perceived rival, Mr Apollos Ikpobe, who was the bank’s Deputy Managing Director and always known to be the restraining factor to Elumelu’s lavish lifestyle of the bank, as well as its conscience. According to a source, Elumelu has been having silent running battle with Ikpobe who joined from Zenith Bank over the latter’s desire to follow strict banking rules, which the boss do not subscribe to, since he sees UBA as his sole venture, with customers money as his fiddle to play with. On Tuesday, we sighted Elumelu in the building where he climbed the lift to the 18th floor apparently to go and wait for the forced resignation letter of Ikpobe which was finally tendered and the board accepting it. His own boy, Kennedy Uzoka who has been with him from his days at Standard Trust Bank (STB) was immediately drafted in to take the position. Uzoka is a certified ‘graduate’ of the ‘Elumelu school of management’, with those who come from other banking halls finding UBA a slippery ground. With this boardroom politics perfectly played by Elumelu and his boy now going to work with the randy MD in the person of Philip Odozua, customers’ money can now be said to be firmly in control of the banking emperor who will allegedly use it to fund his other businesses. ***Who are those fronting for Elumelu as board members/Directors of UBA? Find out as we reveal them. http://abusidiqu.com/banking-bad-boy-elumelu-of-uba-pulls-dangerous-strings-to-kick-out-ikpobe/

Federal Government to investigate missing N1.7 billion in UNIVERSITY OF ABUJA. The missing N1, 763, 965,000 from accounts of the embattled University of Abuja has become a major source of worry to the Federal Government as it has ordered an immediate probe into the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of the said sum. In a similar move, the government has asked the schools Governing Council to work speedily towards the recovery of the N266 million trapped in failed banks and get back to the government as soonas possible. These were the recommendations made by the panel set up to look into the affairs of the institution between 2004 and 2010. The Prof. D. A. Guobadia’s panel submitted its report to the government in June last year but the views of the administration on the submission of the panelists, have just been released. In the report, the government expresses its disappointment over the missing sum of money and other financial misappropriations that took place in the school within the said period. The report gave accurate details on how the university was made to lose various sums of money and how it is currently being confronted with the present problems. . The report stated: “The periodic reports of the internal auditors revealed a number of weaknesses and complete non-adherence to suggestive measures by the management of the university. “Panel observed that out of N10,681,315,000 cash generated by the University of Abuja in 2009/2010 financial year, only N8,917,730,000 was lodged in banks while the balance of N1,763,965,000 was not banked. “By December 2010, the amount had not been banked and no action had been taken to discipline those involved in the disappearance of the said amount”. The report further revealed that, “The visitor frowns at the inability of the management to exercise financial control over the institution. |
