I opened this thread because of my experience with MTN YouTube plan. I have a TV box and didn't want to renew my DStv subscription then. My kid needed to play but I didn't want him, so I paid for MTN YouTube 3 hr plan. The experience was very frustrating, till I paid for data and YouTube started streaming in 1080p without a single glitch. I also remember paying for star times ON via MTN and it kept on buffering till I paid for data. What is the use of YouTube payment option on MTN? If it works for you without data , how do you do it ? What other alternatives do we have. What devices do you use to reduce buffering and lag. For those into sports streaming do we have any paid premium site that does not do ads .
