Good day farmers, I've researched and spoke with some farmers, everyone seems to be planting something else except Spring Onions (Green Onions). Is there a reason for this, Does it mean that the demand for this vegetable is very low, or not profitable?  Please experienced farmers in the house I'll be needing your response. Thanks |

The demand for spring onion is very low as they are mostly consumed by expatriates It can also be affected by scarcity or availability of the onion itself owing to the fact that some people especially in Kano here can dry the onion stalks or use it as the stalks as anyone can to spring onion I plant them but towards August or September |
