Spray your farm with cypermethrin and lambda-cyhalothrin interchangeably. That is, if you use cypermethrin this week, use lambda-cyhalothrin the next time you spray. The reason is that whiteflies are stubborn and can develop resistance if you continue using the same product.

The second important solution is to practice crop rotation. For example, if you plant a crop susceptible to whiteflies, such as tomatoes, this year, then plant a crop that is resistant to whiteflies, like maize, next year.
