Buying cattle in Nigeria is not always straightforward. You often have to travel to cattle markets, rely on intermediaries, and depend on verbal descriptions for weight, health, and pricing. For people who are not familiar with the markets or do not speak Hausa, negotiation can also be challenging. Las las, many buyers are still unsure if they got the right value or a fair deal. What has your experience been? What challenges have you faced when buying cattle? How do you confirm price and quality before purchasing? |
