One of the major problem building a biodigester in a swampy area is finding a way to dispose effluent .
The most common way for effluent disposal is through soil absorption and allowing the effluent to flow into a drainage gutter.
In a swampy area where soil absorption is very poor one option is to allow the effluent to flow to the drain gutter or effluent can be stored in an ET bed where planting water loving plants can help reduce the effluent in the ET bed.
Another option is pumping out the effluent .
Biodigester often fail if there is a problem of effluent disposal .
