This time, I visited a young Nigerian entrepreneur who is doing exceptionally well in maggot farming, and he openly shared practical insights about the business — from getting started, feeding, breeding, housing, management, challenges, and the opportunities in maggot production.

Maggot farming is one of those agricultural ventures many people overlook, yet it has huge potential when done properly.

Maggots farming was interesting when I was feeding them to my cat fish in the ponds., cat fish and other breeds of fish feed more on maggots, I later stopped feeding them with maggots when my fishes started behaving strange.

See OP. Stop with the lies. Don't decieve people.
My wife does BSF farming as well. BSF means Black Soldier Fly. They aren't your typical maggots per say.

To say that there is any farmer making 'millions' out of BSF farming, is a huge blatant lie. There is no massive commercial adoption of BSF as a valid protein source for fish and poultry in Nigeria presently. Feed formulators still rely heavily on plant based protein sources, blood meal and fish meal. Which is why the cost of feed is still quite high.

Farmers with the means do incorporate BSF farming in their setup but they are very few.

Good. But one person succeeding in it does not make it an ideal for everyone. Everyone has his call in life. The primary focus is to find where you belong and dwell in it. This is called purpose!
