I believe there are some basic tools and knowledge needed to start a Farm that most of us lack and these tools and know how increases the chance of success for new farmers.

Starting up with faith has resulted in a lot of failures that has sent some people back to the city hustle.

soil test
what will grow on your soil
what is profitable for starter
When to plant
What cultivar to plant
what chemicals and fertilizer is needed
Labor cost for clearing and planting
Schedule of feeding and spraying
Hand tools

I have heard people recommend chemicals, but no one has given the list for the active ingredients, and concentrations to use on which plants

I am looking to plant some palm tree
I will have to do soil test to know what type of amendments I will need to succeed
Plant Tenera
I don't know when to plant
Plan to clear land with round up . burning and maybe use soya /beans as cover crop
Weed, fumigate and feed for next 4 years
Brush cutter, sprayer digger fertilizer applicator water pump, well/borehole hoses and piping
wish list is a nursery, greenhouse, side-by-side and quad

Please experts in the house respond with a crop and give us some clarity on the above question
