Four Iran-linked ships transit Strait of Hormuz, tracking shows Published at 17:27 14 April By Joshua Cheetham and Shruti Menon

Ship tracking data analysed by BBC Verify shows four Iran-linked ships have crossed the Strait of Hormuz despite Washington's naval blockade! Two of those ships had visited Iranian ports according to MarineTraffic. Its data shows a bulk carrier, Christianna, crossed the strait on Monday after the blockade began, having called at Iran's Bandar Iman Khomeini, according to ship-tracking data.

The Rich Starry, sanctioned by the US for Iran-related trade, sailed east from Sharjah in the UAE through the strait overnight, data shows. The tanker Murlikishan, which is also under US sanctions for Iran-related trade, sailed from Lanshan in China and headed west through the strait overnight. According to Marine Traffic its last reported position was east of Iran's Qeshm island.

Another tanker, Elpis, passed the strait heading east overnight having come from the Iranian port of Bushehr, tracking shows. It is also under US sanctions and its destination is unknown.

It is possible these ships have been broadcasting false position reports - known as "spoofing" - to disguise their locations.

A sanctioned Iranian "shadow fleet" tanker, Elpis oil tanker, successfully crossed the Strait of Hormuz on Monday despite a new U.S.-imposed naval blockade targeting Iranian oil exports.

Maritime tracking data from Kpler confirmed the vessel was carrying crude oil as it transited the strait, directly challenging the tightened U.S. restrictions that took effect earlier that day.

Meanwhile, other ships appeared to avoid the high-risk passage. One tanker reportedly altered course toward the United Arab Emirates, while another halted near the Iran coast. Satellite images also indicated a noticeable drop in traffic through the critical oil corridor, highlighting rising tensions and uncertainty around one of the world's most vital energy routes.

Not that they don't have power, are you not here when China and Russia used their veto power vote against US using force in opening of the Strait in UN security revolution 🤔 that night America retreat their soldiers (Marine) that plan to attack Iranian base on the Strait.
This is all they can do, since America and it's allies ships are blockade, Iranian and it's allies ship will also be blockade untill they come together for proper resolution.
