If your partner cheats on you, you don't have any business with who he/she cheated with but your partner. If you're so blood thirsty then take your partner's blood!
The truth is if your partner cheats on you there are only two legit things you can do:
1. Forgive and forget
2. Divorce.

Don't go and assault or kill anybody after-all you don't own their body.

You made a valid point however keep away from other people's partner. If I can't take other people's life that does not mean another person cannot do it. Adultery is a very bad thing and there is a saying that if an adulterous person does not kill him/herself, he will kill his/her partner. Stay off, whatever punishment you receive from it then you deserve it.
