"Black Market" Art Exhibition

The Osh Gallery presents an art installation by Pwavidon Mathias.

"Black Market", an art installation by Pwavidon Mathias addressing the subject of fuel scarcity within a socio-political context will open at The Osh Gallery tomorrow, 2nd of August, 2014. Mathias explores the various props and scenarios that characterise the all too familiar seasonal bouts of petroleum scarcity in the Nigerian state. This exhibition is open to the general public and it will also feature performances from Sammy of X3m Music and renowned Spoken Word giant, Sage Hasson.

The Exhibition will start at 3pm on 2nd August, 2014.

Venue: The Osh Gallery, 381 Herbert Macaulay Way, Yaba, Lagos.

Exhibition runs till 23rd August, 2014.

PLASTICINE AND MOULDING CLAY

It's summer time (and a rainy summer too!). So what do you do with those little fingers stuck indoors? Simple, give them some plasticine. Plasticine has been used for classroom projects, sculpture and stop-motion animation (Wallace and Gromit for example). British comedian James May used plasticine to create a garden which won prizes at the Royal Horticultural Show.

Instructions

Absolutely none! Grab some, twist it, mould it and create. Plasticine lasts for at least 18 months and can be used to create longer-lasting artworks.
It's all upto you.
