Yeah it happens. Some folks have stronger ties to where they have lived all their lives. My late papa was buried in a mausoleum in his residence here in Lagos, guess what his mother was also buried decades ago in the same place.
To show you how embedded we are in our adugbo, the local government offered to rename the street after him but the family declined. The community infact buried him, for the first time ever, the community shutdown the major street in the neighbourhood and redirected traffic.
