dear nairalanders help me with prayers, i prayed and prayed to God but its like he is not answering my prayers. pls if you know God answer your prayers include me in it, ask God to give me a decent job so that i will stop begging on nairaland
honestly it hurts me a lots how people are insulting me and calling me names just because i ask for help. God knows that i am not a scammer and not a thief, but people keep calling me scammer, thief and someone just few moments ago called me a greedy bastrd, just because i lack money. i am human i have feelings and it truly hurts me but i always act like it doesnt.
they are calling me all sort of names just because someone one nairaland borrowed me 5k and i still have not paid him, is it my blood that i will use to pay him? since the time he borrowed me that 5k i never earn 5k to pay him back. to all people that r calling me scammer and thief because of 5k loan they can do their worst DAN GUTSUN UWARSU. im not afraid of anybody nd im not afraid of any calamity to befall on me, i dont have money and i will pay him when i have but if they are not satisfied with my excuse i repeat they can do their worst. the guy that give me the loan is not disturbing me but some useless @ss mothrtfvckers are even sending me mails threatening me.

Well, the story long but I will keep this one short. I am on the HCPC register in the UK as a biomedical scientist and I thought that enough is going to make me hot cake for NHS job but the contrary was the case. I have started applying from Nigeria before my wife got a care job that moved us up here and I did just one virtual interview while in Nigeria. I started applying from 2022 purely for biomedical jobs and to no avail i only got one invite which didn't even bother to give me feedback about my application. The key thing here is never to give up and keep on applying and this paid off eventually. I was concentrating on the clinical scientist part and was not considering other sectors and this made me get a whole lot of "unfotunatelys". However, i decided to spread my net to catch more fishes and started applying for other roles mostly nonclinical roles and this little fact got me over 10 interviews. I was getting interviews and the problem now was how to put the right word in to get the job. This is basically done by studying the JD well enough and also identify the trusts values in responses. I discovered they just want you to sound right. The long wait ended when I got the call that I will be placed on reserve for that role i interviewed for which has never happened before and 2 weeks later I was called for the offer. Persistence is very key here and perseverance and patience.

I am just curious and wanting to sample opinions and ask a few questions like; Why did you go to school? By school I mean Polyechnics or Universities. Why spend four years in a school and can you share with me the goals you hoped to achieve, with your education? Also, your course of study, can you share a particular reason why you selected that course?

Now with the benefit of hindsight, can you say you achieved your educational goals? What would you have done differently if presented with the chance of a do-over?
