Hello colleagues,

I have been reading for days now some person's continued insistence on protesting the delayed payment of Agbami scholarship (interestingly, those who just wrote the scholarship test this year and are not even sure if they qualified are also in support).

While i understand that the turn of events last year might have informed this suggestion, i don't think it is the best for now.

Have we explored all diplomatic means to know the state of things? No. We know Star Deep Water, Dragnet and Scholastica are major companies involved in this award thing; they all have social media handles, websites, e-mail addresses and even phone contacts. How many of us have tried reaching out to them to know what exactly is causing the delay and when they intend to communicate?

I also wrote the exam this year and I am very optimistic, just as I also need the money. But then, we should learn to do things the normal and reasonable way. Everything is not about protest, please.

Now diz is d wise decision frm a wise man. datz wat i wz tryng to point out. Lets be calm brothers.

I jhuz hav a feelng dat d open letter and/or protest wont bring any immediate acceleration of thngs. Coz thy most b aware of evwtin (d end of d year,d need of studnts 2 pay thr schl fees,etc). We jhuz dnt knw watz delaying them.
I think we shud jhuz wait.....Dou wat i think may nt matter.

Have they paid the transport reimbursement for those who wrote the exams this year? I think it won't be wise to assume they'll pay the scholarship money before the reimbursement.

no they havnt. if it exceeds diz week,then it'll probably be next year.

The problem is that there's no any source of update abt the progress... so we are.... in a state of uncertainty. Had it bng they wd say smthing abt it,we wud b at ease. Abeg,is thr any social media page for official agbami updates.. any?.

i think we shud wait till end ov dz mnth.

He meant during d respective years d old awardees were shortlisted 4 aptitude test,was any one shortlisted witout uploading his/her verification form?... or may be he was considering last year awardees in particular.

i also mentioned 'praying'...not anytin otherwise of faith and optimism.

Did d payment ever reached January b4 or was it usually December atmost?

Lemme ask a question dahz not supposed to b asked nw�...hw long doz it usually take for them to notify the qualified ones after d test??.
