Jesus Gil Manzano will officiate Barcelona's match against Atletico Madrid. If we win this league then it is a f!ckin' miracle.
|
Valverde: "The penalty? None of our players know what the reason for the penalty was. Lahoz did not tell us when we asked him." Valverde: "The difference is now 5 points. We are angry and we now have even more motivation to win against Atleti on Sunday." Valverde: "Las Palmas just sat back after they scored the penalty." Valverde: “Everyone is talking about the penalty but no one is talking about their goalkeeper using his hands outside his box.” Valverde: "You tell me, how was that a penalty? We still don't know." But But.... UEFALONA

Neymar1095:Much as I don't find it sensible to dwelve into anything related to your matter, owing to the fact that most of your posts lacks the smallest bits of sense, I'd love to make this known to you so that you won't keep on disgracing yourself beyond limits. Xavi+Iniesta+Neymar la liga assists isn't up to what Messi has as his la liga assists. The player with most assists to Leo still stands as D.Alves. So your claim that MESSI is being carried by those people are totally off the lane, instead , Leo is the one carrying most of the team. (Argue with his total la liga assists) Generally, I used to think those who makes this statements are world lifters... Never knew you too could.... Oh wait!!! I forgot you only not lift Twitter words, you do also to the junks therein! ![]() |
Madridiots saying Messi scored an easy tap in goal. Last time Ronaldo tried a shot like that,he nutmegged himself.
|
jamescross:Competitive match, I meant!!!! Not friendlies... |
jamescross:All these club players you have written here are club wonders who goes off the heat at the national level. Of all these, when was the last time one scored for Argentina ? I'll wait. |
ruggedmallaam:Why not today ? It can happen at anytime. Manuel Neuer, Enyeama, Buffon, all got at least two goals from him on that day which the jinx got broken. An unannounced day. It may be today and it may not be and it may never come. But... Never say never. |
Neymar left Barca for an inferior league to be a jefe in there and to stats pad, scoring goals and creating assists for fun against shitty teams like Dijon, Metz , but couldn't even score or assist one against a 4th positioned team last night. He's hungry for individual brilliance with his useless and unnecessary dribbles and showboating, neglecting the team factor. Always happy the kid left Barca. |
Leyqute:Like he did made it with Spain ? |
Messi: “Andrés and I are similar in that we both use our bodies a lot, to avoid opponents. But he has something that always amazes me. There’s always a moment when you think you’re going to catch him, when you think you’re going to get the ball off him, but you can’t!".

[MD] | MundoDeportivo Reports; Coutinho's wife, Alain, is the solution to make way for Arthur's arrival in the summer. Coutinho will get the Portuguese passport on its way, as Suarez, who got the Italian through his wife Sophia, will give a place to a foreign player alongside Mina and Paulinho. |
Coutinho's exclusive interview with Sport and Mundo Deportivo. When do you start to have proof of Barcelona's interest? Coutinho: It had been talked for some time, but it was in the summer when a concrete proposal was made and they spoke with us. Before it was already spoken, my representative had had some contacts and had spoken a little with the club, but never anything concrete. In November 2016 you already had a SPORT cover, due to Barça's interest in your signing? Coutinho: Yes, there was a lot of talk in the press, but the first time everything was real was last summer. When do you say yes to your agent? When do you say, 'forget about everything else and take me to Barça'? Coutinho: As soon as I knew that Barça wanted me, I told him that I wanted to come here. I had it clear from the first moment. And when do you tell Neymar that you will not go with him to Paris Saint Germain? Coutinho: [Laughs] The truth is we have not talked much. He made his decision and I had the opportunity to come here. When the opportunity was given, I did not even think twice, I always knew it, because it was always my dream to be in this club. I want to conquer my space here, win titles and be happy at Barça. What has Coutinho done to make the heavyweights in the dressing room, Messi and Suárez, welcome him so well? They even arrive on the field in the same car on match days.? Coutinho: They have all received me very well. Not just me, also Yerry Mina and Paulinho, when he arrived. The dressing room is very good, and that is something very important, which makes the team great on and off the field. Among all the members of the staff it is evident that you have a very special connection with Luis Suárez. How was that connection born? Coutinho: We were already together at Liverpool: when I got there he helped me a lot. Other players also, especially those who spoke Spanish or Portuguese, which are very similar languages. We were always together and we created a great friendship. Now there is much debate about your ideal position in the field. Right, left or simply, the closer to the rival area, the better? Coutinho: Where to play depends on the coach, how you want the team to play and what you need in each match. What I have to do is prepare myself to be well and learn how the team plays. Every day I adapt better to the team and what I want is to be prepared so that when I have to be in the field, I have the opportunity to do it well You come from Liverpool: another style, another League. Is it easy or difficult to play at Barça? Coutinho: Playing next to so many great players is much better. Each team has a way of playing and I am still trying to learn how to play here, every day I work to perform as well as possible. You have gone from working with Jürgen Klopp to doing it with Ernesto Valverde. They seem night and day, two totally opposite coaches.? Coutinho: Well, they are different. Everyone has their way and their experience. What has surprised you most about Barça? Coutinho: It is a very difficult question ... [hesitation]. All the players are very good, I see it every day, in training and in games. You see them and think, 'this is incredible', but it is not something that surprised me because when I came I already knew it. What has helped me a lot has been the reception of the costumes: they are all very quiet people. When Neymar left Barça to sign for PSG, one of his great motivations was winning the Golden Ball. Do you think about it too? Coutinho: It's something that every player wants to win if he can, but I think more about winning titles, that's what really motivates me. The other is a consequence, if you make good seasons and win titles. But what motivates me now is winning with Barça. What do you think of the tie between Madrid and PSG? Coutinho: They will be great matches. Is it true that in your day you passed a test with Madrid? Coutinho: I in Madrid? No no Do you think, as Marcelo said, that Neymar will end up playing at Real Madrid? Coutinho: I do not know and I have not talked to him about that. It's something he has to think about, I just think about Barcelona. Your last tattoo is significant, the word courage ('coragem' in Portuguese). What does it mean to you? Coutinho: It's a word I like: having courage is very important in life. Are you still praying before the games? Coutinho: Yes always. But not only before leaving the field, but every day. I believe in God and whenever I can I thank him. |
So I came across some argumentative comparison on Facebook between Marc and David. Some were saying they play in different leagues so they can't be judged with the overall stats of Marc Ter Steven Played :- 23 Clean sheets :- 14 David De Gea Played :- 27 Clean sheets :- 15 Had to use the stats of the competition they both take part in which is the UCL. See below for a screenshot of what I got.

VivaLaByke:Would really be glad to see him back in Barca jersey. |
afbstrategies:Football wise, Yes! |
Neymar1095:They're talking team balancing and conceding less goals as per defence and you're talking GK and making saves. How does team balancing helps the GK in making saves ? GK saves doesn't depend on the team's defence. The "clean sheets" recorded matters when it comes to team's defence. Saves is peculair to GK only. A goalie might make 5 saves in match and still go ahead to concede a (some) goal(s) and it's possible a goalie makes 0 saves and get away with clean sheets. You need to get your "Twitter-google" working now to decipher the difference between GK saves and a Clean sheet. |
Interview with Jasper Cillessen :- Interviewer: "Cillessen on the bench, a little bit strange as well." Cillessen: "[laughs] unfortunately that has become somewhat common." Cillessen: "Relation with Ter Stegen? We get along very well, we make each other better." Interviewer: "Outside the pitch, do you hang out with players?" Cillessen: "No, not much. But that's because we are here a lot and we have so many games and training sessions so..." Interviewer: "Where do you live?" Cillessen: "I live in Castelldefels, it's very nice and yes, indeed close to Messi, Coutinho and Suárez as you already said. I bought my parents a house close to the beach because they're attending every home game we play. Interviewer: "That save in Mestalla, explain it." Cillessen: "I assumed he would've headed the ball, but he didn't so I anticipated on the situation and when he shot I did everything I could to save it." Interviewer: "Was this your best save so far at Barcelona, against your fellow countryman Bas Dost (Sporting CP)?" Cillessen: "Yes, and the one against Gaya two days ago." Interviewer: "Greatest game you have played so far? Cillessen: "The Copa del Rey final against Alavés." Interviewer: "Greatest game while being on the bench?" Cillessen: "PSG at home last year, that was sensational. I still can't believe it." Interviewer: "Most beautiful stadium in Spain?" Cillessen: "Camp Nou." Interviewer: "Best restaurant in Barcelona?" Cillessen: "I go to restaurant Buenos Aires on a regular basis." Interviewer: "Nicest colleague?" Cillessen: "Rakitić, a very nice person. Always happy, always friendly and speaks like six languages, very special." Interviewer: "Best player?" Cillessen: "That's easy, Lionel Messi." Interviewer: "What do you say against all those people who say you are just sitting on the bench?" Cillessen: "Well, that it's not my final goal." Copied. |
Lord Gomes out. O. Dembele back in sqaud.
|
Funny how we got carried away by the victory that we didn't notice Luis & Jordi avoided at least a yellow card last night which means they both are gon' be available for the final.
|
Great saves from Jasper Nice passes from Don Iniesta fantastic dribble and runs from El Pistolero to set up Phil & Ivan. Gomes shitty as usual. Almost cost Barca a goal with his misplaced pass. Some nice defending from Geri. Valencia played some beautiful football too. Dudes should've scored at least one but no thanks to the brilliance of Jasper and the absence of some bits of luck. We off to the Finals, Cules! |
Pique in squad list. His starting is uncertain yet. Vermaelen, Digne, Denis, Dembele out. |
Barcelona win Under 3.5 goals Barcelona & 3.5 goals Barcelona or draw & under 3.5 goals. |

I know this Ondo whitebeardgang chairman will be there... |
Forget about awful results from Madrid. Real Madrid will eliminate PSG from the UCL. Somebody should quote me. I'm a Barca fan but I just do not see how that PSG team will oust Real Madrid. PSG isn't as deadly as you all think. Those mediocre teams in the French league makes it seem like they are exceptionally outstanding. Yes, Madrid have suffered in the hands of the so called Mediocre teams of La Liga but this is UCL where they can rewrite the history of their season if they eventually go ahead to win it. Zidane mentioned that in a press conference some days back. PSG suffer against big teams esp when playing on away turf. That alone will undo them against Madrid particularly if they concede the first goal in either legs. The pressure will rise and that will be the beginning of their end 'cos Real Madrid will pile up the pressure on them (they love to do this when playing big teams and scored the first goal). PSG lack the defence to handle the intense pressure that'd be coming from Madrid in that scenario. Overconfidence wil kill PSG for sure (owing to their good results and Madrid's bad), the pressure is on PSG to win and as for the ties, it's theirs to lose. Madrid will send them packing. |
Copa del Rey & La Liga waving bye bye to Real Madrid like... ![]()
