However the wait time is my issue. For ports like Baltimore, the wait time to get loaded is roughly 2-3 weeks after your brother has deliver the car to the port. This is the time that it takes the car to clear customs before getting the green light to leave. New York /New Jersey port can take like 4 weeks while Jacksonville takes like 1 week thereabout.

If i am not mistaken (i stand to be corrected) All vehicles booked by any agent will have to be pre-paid by your agent to Grimaldi before allowed to sail. That means, your agent will either have to either pay partial / full for the cargo to Grimaldi before getting a space.

The delay might be occurring if your brother is not buoyant enough to pay all booked cargos at once. That means he waits to collect on one before paying others. That is a possibility.

It also makes a difference if your brother is the direct contract agent with Grimaldi or not. Most "AGENTS" are just sub - sub contractors. And where that makes a difference is when there is an issue that arises. Your "agent" cannot call Grimaldi directly to iron things out..

My brother in Delaware bought a SUV M/B for me and had taken it to Baltimore port for shipping getting to about 3 weeks.
The issue of not trusting him is out of the matter, infact my family who went for summer vacation saw the vehicle before been taken to the port.

My questions are:-
1. Based on your experience with a lot customers, does it take this long or more for it to be shipped?
2. What other enlightenment could you share with us, your online prospective customer?
