No longer watching. Vardy comes on and scores. |

Almajirihunter: Addressing the media ahead of his team's clash against Manchester United, Frank Lampard told the media (via West London Sport): "We have a clean bill of health, apart from Kepa, who has a shoulder injury. Petr Cech won't be coming to Manchester as part of the squad, though.
"I am seeing some signs of that [the team coming together], but people came in with injuries. I am seeing signs but I am not jumping ahead. I knew it would take some time. I expect us to get better. It's not perfect to have new players with no pre-season." Thanks. |

Actman05: Senior man well done, I am confused, I just want to see us win games and trophies, but how can we do that if we cannot defend a 2 goal lead? I am sorry everyone. I retract my comment, when I think we were bad but then there is another team that is worst. |

Ibime: What do you think all the 3 man defence last season was for? It was to protect Kepa, James, Alonso, Rudiger and Chris with strength of numbers. Kepa faced the second least big chances last season in the league. What more does he want?
This is a new season with plenty investment in attacking players. We are not going to play 3 man defence to protect anyone when there are expensive attacking players to fit in. You can't drive a Ferrari like a Beetle.
Lampard has a mandate from the club not to turn Kepas £72m to ashes. At the very least, the clubs official line is that Kepa is still considered highly and Mendy is only being brought to challenge him, not to throw him away in the dustbin. This means Kepa is at least guaranteed to be 2nd choice keeper. Left to Lampard alone, he will throw Kepa all the way inside the dustbin and use Caballero and Baxter sef if Mendy is injured. Senior man well done, I am confused, I just want to see us win games and trophies, but how can we do that if we cannot defend a 2 goal lead? |

He better go look for his confidence where he kept it. Mtcheew.
My only headache is that Caballero is a bigger fowl. Haa, headache is headaching me That's the thing Caballero is also another headache since it seems Mendy is not available. |

Skimpledawg: I saw injuries happening to Kepa's head and legs during training on Monday.
Bar that, I see us jubilating at the end of the day. In my opinion, I think Frank should set up the team to protect Kepa more since we know he is not good enough, at least for his confidence. |
