It’s important to say this because urine and kerosene are considered harmful, dangerous and toxic to the eyes Urine can worsen the Apollo, give you eye irritation, you can get an STD eye infection like Chlamydia or Gonorrhea, you can become blind as well. Also, you can't get Apollo from looking at someone, No need to start looking away But you can get it if you share towels, pillows, bedsheet, handkerchief, shake hands, kiss So wash hands regularly Don’t rub eyes- it worsens it Don’t share personal items Wear dark sunglasses. |
Home remedy Bacterial Apollo responds to antibiotic eye drops & that may also take up to two weeks as well Allergic Apollo being an allergy will only respond to antihistamines- tablets/eyedrops that help combat allergies. But regardless of treatment, these things go So bottom line, Apollo regardless of the cause usually goes on its own without treatment {Especially if it’s viral} So while you may try all sorts of things including urine, breast milk, kerosene, onions slice, it’s actually mere coincidence, it’s not the urine that “cures” it |
Now viral apollo can last for up to 14-21 days. It does NOT respond to antibiotic eye drops and goes away ON ITS OWN- treatment or no treatment Actually, this is what most of us had/have. And that’s why you say “eye drops didn’t work for one week but urine worked after”. That’s because viral Apollo (is caused by viruses not bacteria) and will never respond to antibiotic eye drops, And usually when it’s time for it to go on its own, if you applied urine around same time, you assume the urine made it go That was pure coincidence |
But what causes Apollo? There are three broad causes- Viruses, bacteria and allergies When caused by a virus, it tends to be very watery and gritty sensation in the eyes; when caused by bacteria, it tends to have a yellowish sticky discharge That’s a simple way to know If allergic, the person is reacting badly to something in the environment like dust, or smoke. Regardless though, ALL forms of Apollo causes red painful eye But it’s important to know these different possible causes, because the cause determines treatment |
There's been a lot of questions on Apollo and there seems to be stong belief that they work, because during our childhood days we believed it was the urine that healed our Apollo, well that’s wrong, it wasn’t the urine Let me explain why and try to clarify Firstly, What is Apollo? It is medically termed Conjunctivitis That simply means an inflammation of the conjunctiva {that’s the layer that covers the front of the eye} So it’s that swollen red layer that we call Apollo |
Urine CAN’T cure Apollo Kerosene CAN'T cure Apollo Breast milk CAN'T cure Apollo Onions CAN'T cure Apollo You CAN'T get Apollo, looking at someone's eye There’s NO medical evidence.Urine & kerosene are toxic & can make you blind NEVER PUT IN YOUR EYE

Well that's what most people think it is. |
I have sha noticed most men are bad communicators, I was so pist about it in many relationships, but when I started paying attention to the married people in my family, I noticed it was mostly the women that kept convos going with men just answering and then keeping mute. But it still baffles me how you will be interested in someone, infact even married to someone and the communication will be one sided most times. But if you see this men in the midst of their friends, completely different people. I can’t and will never fathom it. |
A question came across my time-line asking. Ever lost interest in someone you really liked because of bad communication and unmatched energy? This lack of communication thing seems to be a bigger problem in modern day relationships than unfaithfulness. In my opinion, ego plays a very big role in relationships. Often times, we want our partners to become mind readers and figure out what we want. We don't communicate our needs properly. We're really not good at expressing ourselves anymore. E.g every relationship starts off good, so where did all the vibe and interests and topics go? Both parties got too comfortable and expects the other person to do all the work. Ego and entitlement. |

A 13-year-old schoolboy took his life after finding out the girl he has a crush on had started dating somebody else.Harry Storey, told friends on Whatsapp that hewas feeling suicidal but they thought he was joking. Later that night on March 1 his father Andrew found his body at their home in Chilton, Oxfordshire.Mr Storey said: "I could not comprehend what I was seeing."He carried out CPR and when his wife walked in he shouted for her to call emergency services. Harry was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital where he died three days later. An inquest heard yesterday that it was unlikely that Harry had intended to kill himself. The deceased's father said: "We watched a programme where the female star had hangedherself but her friends rescued her. It made uswonder whether he had a sensationalised view of what might happen."Paying tribute to his son, Mr Storey said:"Harry was a charismatic, caring boy and sportwas a huge part of his life, playing rugby, cricket and tennis. He would talk to anyone with ease and he had a natural ability to strikeup a conversation, which I admired him for."He seemed to us to be just a normal teenagerbut he did have high expectations of himself. It came as a complete shock to me."Detective Sergeant Lou Heffernan-Glover said:"I think he lost consciousness unexpectedly. Itcould not have been predicted or prevented byhis family."Coroner Darren Salter recorded a verdict of misadventure. He said: "Harry did the action himself and hadmade comments about suicide. However teenagers do say things of that nature."There is an element of speculation but it seems to me that Harry did not intend it to be fatal. Therefore the conclusion is one of misadventure. Misadventure is similar to an accident, it is the deliberate undertaking of a risk that goes wrong, causing death." ________________________________________________________ https://www.instagram.com/p/B08uLsblgk3/?igshid=14r5gaox4ggdm I uploaded my music video for a competition on Instagram... Caster Semenya, the South African Olympic champion banned from competing in world female track and field championships as long as she continues to refuse hormone treatments to reduce her testosterone levels, has revealed that at some point in her career she usually walked into the changing room naked just to prove that she was a girl.Semenya made the disclosure at the StandardBank Top Women Conference held at Emperors Palace in Kempton Park on the EastRand. According to her, walking around naked became neccesary because her teammates struggled to compete with her. Also revealing how her humble beginning toughened her up, the athlete said she grew up around boys and had to walk seven miles every single day - the reason she is fast.“I was always in the bush [training]. Bullies for me never existed because how I responded to them, was way rough. I was one of those young [ladies]that had no fear. I had goals. I knew that everything I touched would turn to gold,” she said.“My dad thought I was going to be with Banyana Banyana but I disappointed him because I had to sell my soccer boots for spikes instead. He was quite surprised. Running is my destiny. WhenI’m on track, I forget about everything,” she added. -______________________________________________________- https://www.instagram.com/p/B08uLsblgk3/?igshid=14r5gaox4ggdm I uploaded my video for a competition on Instagram... The ex-Liverpool midfielder believes the France international's actions during the summer have further destabilised matters at Old Trafford Former Liverpool boss Graeme Souness has renewed hostilities with Manchester United ’s Paul Pogba ahead of Sunday’s season-opener, claiming he would not want the midfielder in his dressing room if he was in charge at Old Trafford. France international Pogba has endured an unsettling summer, but has offered reassurances to manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he will not create a divide in the dressing room, and is even understood to be under consideration for the club’s captaincy ahead of the new campaign. The 2018 World Cup winner became the subject of almost constant speculation during the off-season, with a purported move to Real Madrid and subsequent rumours regarding his old club Juventus top of the agenda. However, ex- Scotland international and Sky Sports pundit Souness, who has a history of launching scathing attacks on the 26-year-old in front of the cameras, has questioned whether the player remains fully committed ahead of the Red Devils’ curtain-raiser with Chelsea . Romelu Lukaku, who left the club to join Inter on Thursday after a similarly destabilising spell, has also found himself in the line of fire, with suggestions that the pair are the reason United missed out on Champions League qualification last season. Speaking to The Times , Souness said: “If I’m sitting in United’s dressing room, I’m glad Lukaku has gone and don’t want Pogba in there with me either if he’s not up for the fight ahead and is also keen to get away. “They’re as responsible as anybody for the predicament United are in, yet have effectively said to their team-mates: ‘It’s everybody else’s fault’. “No, let’s get it right, lads, you’re part of the reason United are not in the Champions League this year. “Madrid are looking to nick Pogba on the cheap because they’re suspicious of his form, while Inter haggled over the asking price for Lukaku because he didn’t pull up any trees at United either.” United forward Marcus Rashford, who could play a pivotal role up front following Lukaku’s move to Italy , also found himself being questioned by the former Rangers and Newcastle boss. The 21-year-old, alongside the likes of Anthony Martial, will form the backbone of Solskjaer’s attack, but Souness says the England man might not be up to the job. "I’m not convinced he’s ready for it yet,” he added. “It’s not ideal and it would not have happened under (former manager) Fergie (Sir Alex Ferguson).”.. ____________________________________________________ Please just 4 minutes of your time https://www.instagram.com/p/B08uLsblgk3/?igshid=14r5gaox4ggdm I uploaded my video for a competition on Instagram... The former manager revealed who he thinks could win the Premier League this season, but that neither of his former clubs have a chance Jose Mourinho claimed that the Manchester City 'B team' has more chance of winning the Premier League this season than his former clubs Manchester United and Chelsea . United get their Premier League campaign underway against the Blues on Sunday, but the Portuguese doesn’t hold much hope for either side ahead of the new season. When asked on Sky Sports who he thought was in the race for the title, Mourinho identified four teams: “Manchester City, Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester City B team. "Today, even if one team plays magnificently or has a fantastic result, I don't believe the title is possible." Both clubs are coming into the 2019-20 season as relatively unknown quantities, with new managers still getting their feet under the table. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping the big-money signings of Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka can help to prove that his promising start to life at Old Trafford was no flash in the pan. Chelsea, meanwhile, are embracing a new dawn with Frank Lampard at the helm. Restricted by a transfer ban, they are expected to rely heavily on their vast array of youngsters in the coming year. But whatever they do achieve this season, it seems that Manchester City’s Premier League crown is an unassailable one - for Mourinho's old clubs, at least. His fellow pundits Gary Neville and Graeme Souness also wrote off United or Chelsea as contenders before their first ball of the season was kicked. "Manchester United can't win the title and I don't think Chelsea can either,” Neville said. "I think United would snap your hands off now if you offered them fourth. I think they are in a battle with Chelsea and Arsenal for that position. "I think Tottenham, Liverpool and City are well ahead. "Manchester United have got to start one block at a time. You can't expect them to go from where they have been over the last seven years to winning the title.” Souness is also ready for another two-horse race, though he thinks Tottenham could piece together another impressive season. "I think City and Liverpool are a good bit ahead of everyone else, including Tottenham,” he said. "They could put a good run together and have a really strong group of players again. "I don't think anyone will come close to the top two. I see them battling it out again.". |
