The Big Brother Naija Show has been trending in Nigeria for the past three years since it began airing on Nigerian TV. The Reality TV show has brought many controversies to the African culture due to the depravity portrayed live before the eyes of our mothers, sisters, brothers and fathers, not reflecting the culture of the land. If we recall a while ago the President of Nigeria made a bold statement that the youth are lazy and look who is rushing to enter the big brother’s house, the youth who are unemployed and desperately seeking for quick rich scheme, poverty is also another factor leading them to debauchery. BB Naija has attracted a lot of attention when the company in charge announced the return of the show in the new year. Confirmed sources have told Nija Box that during the audition’s females were mandated to touch the private parts of their male counterparts to engage into sexual acts. Popular Nigerian radio host, Daddy Freeze, who’s a campaigner against pastors collecting money in the church, aided his voice to this show and claiming its very good thing. It’s very sad, if he doesn’t see anything wrong in the show taking away our moral virtues and our way of life from us. One of the saddening things is that those who should be serving and portraying themselves as role models to the younger generations are not doing so. The story of Makosi a Zimbabwean citizen who resigned her nursing job in the UK in 2006, to participate in the show, and later got pregnant from the show. The pregnancy later turned down her life and career. She was barred from her country and deported from UK, after trying to come back dubiously. She later regretted her actions, which took then and painted her career and name black. Although, she’s in Nigeria now living her life after the Big Brother UK nearly turn her life to a miserable one. The earlier the better we are made to understand the ripple effect, that’s when the nation can stand right. Even though Big Brother UK has been stripped of air, after 18 years in UK last year. This show needs to stop now, it’s an act introduced to buy away the hearts of the youths and get them distracted from necessary issues. Are we now trying to come into conclusions, that who will save our nation from impending doom, this show is now gaining more momentum? Big Brother Naija, also known as Double Wahala returns in 2019 for the third season of the Nigerian scripted version of the Endemol production reality show. Big Brother Naija is a televised show that was created in 2015 with the aim to make celebrities. This year’s show will be hosted ex-housemate Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. The show has acumen a lot of millions from advertisement and other endorsements. BB Naija has also produced few stars for the Nollywood movie industry. The audition started today with lots of millennials who have been showing interest to participate in the show. The show gained a reputation for enabling the unemployed youth to allow the show to become an avenue to enrich themselves, with the emphasis on fulfilling sexual urges on live TV. Big Brother Nigeria has done more harm to society than good. The youths who are supposed to be innovative and nation builders are focusing their attentions to be locked up inside of a house with cameras showcasing their promiscuous lifestyle for fame and money. This clearly show the incapability by the Nigerian youths because of N25 Million and a SUV car given as a reward, their souls and attention have diverted from pending national issues, and how to contribute to nation development. I clamored for the stoppage of the show last year, while it was going on, and with their televised immoral images. Even our religious leaders keep mute due to their unclean hands on this part, that has to do with the morals and values of the nation, which they racket that their religious groups stand for. Nigeria is preparing towards its general election; the youths have been diverted already. While the USA, India, China are coming up with new improved technological methods to better their lives and their countries. The Nigerian youth have shifted their focus to watch and be part this degrading and uncultivable reality TV Show. They have forgotten that “Leaders are made and not born” for the country to be prosperous and stop being called lazy youths by its president, they must show signs of assiduousness and standards. The issue of wanting to get quick fame in Nigeria is also one of the reasons they youths are joining such programmes. We also have the issue of unemployment to blame, which is very high, thereby leaving the lazy ones who wants to do corporate jobs jostling for this satanic show. http://nijabox.co.uk/big-brother-naija-2019-the-most-loved-reality-tv-show-auditions-pulled-crowds/

Shepherd Bushiri was born on the 20th of February 1978. He is widely known the “Major One”. Bushiri is the founder of the Enlightened Christian Gathering and has a major following, making him not only a prominent religious figure but also in politics. Many people don’t know about the influence he has around the world. For the skeptics and other inquisitive persons please see below 7 facts that you never knew about the fraudulent self-acclaimed Prophet from Malawi. 1. He claims to cure HIV and other diseases by performing miracles, although those claims generated a huge backlash, which led to his ban from the country of Botswana and shutdown of one of his churches. 2. He has an estimated net worth of $150 million US dollars. The source of his wealth is believed to have come from his Evangelism, farming, and telecoms. He also happens to be among the richest people in the landlocked country of Malawi due to his ability to practise mind-reading and astral projection which has so far caught the attention of important people across the world. 3. The ‘supernatural prophet’ has earned himself a reputation as a man of God with succinct prophecies. His over 200,000 congregations both in South Africa and Malawi puts him in a good position to influence the economic and political changes in these countries. 4. He purchased a new Gulf Stream private jet in January 6, 2016, making it the 3rd in his jet collection. What can I say, a brand new jet for a brand new year! In an official ceremony organised by National Airways Corporation (NAC) in South Africa, the jet which was worth $37 million was unveiled and Bushiri was handed the certificate of a ZS-VIP by Larry Flynn, Gulf Stream Manager noting that he(Bushiri) is the youngest to afford a gulf stream jet. Shepherd Bushiri just became the 2nd pastor in the world with the highest number of private jets after Bishop Oyedepo who has about 4 of them. 5. Early last year, reports emerged that Bushiri was sending about R15 million a month to his birth country Malawi. It was said the money was transported out of South Africa to Malawi in the pastor’s private jet and a few vehicles. 6. The Hawks’ case against the pair(Bushiri), concerns alleged offences of fraud, money laundering and contravention of the Prevention of Organised Crime Act. (POCA), committed from 2015, in relation to Exchange Control Regulations related to foreign currency in an amount of US$1,147 200. 7. The Gauteng community safety MEC (Member of the Executive Council) Sizakele Nkosi-Malobane called for the prosecution of those who removed the bodies of three congregants from Bushiri’s church following a stampede in December 2018. The day before his arrest the CRL Rights Commission ruled that Bushiri was not responsible for the stampede and that the church fully complied with safety regulations. His supporters believe there is a lot of xenophobia in the way organisations and some authorities in South Africa deal with Bushiri. After the stampede in December, the SA National Civic Organisation (Sanco) led protests against Bushiri and made calls that he be deported to his native Malawi. http://nijabox.co.uk/7-things-you-should-know-about-bushiri-fraud-case/

Tunde is a medical doctor, fashion designer who is originally from Edo state, Nigeria. He launched his clothing line Oamen Klothiers in 2017 in Ukraine while he was studying in the same country. His main intention was to sow his personal wears, when others began to fall in love with his fashion sense. Essentially, he just wanted to make his own clothes, but then he decided to earn money to gradually become a brand. He’s into both native and English wear. Living in Ukraine is quite different and he observed that the residents prefer casuals wears than formal clothes. Tunde looks forward to bringing his brand to Nigeria as soon as possible. He said he prefer the vibe in the Nigerian Fashion Industry. He also encourages other upcoming entrepreneurs to keep working hard and believe in yourself to succeed in business. “With a lot of hard work and dedication, I would love to become a global brand in the next 10 years”, Tunde said. Africa is the second populous continent in the world with 43 countries, consisting of West Africa, South Africa, East Africa and South Africa. Nigeria in this case is the most populated of it, with about 200 Million people, often regarded as Giant of Africa. In Africa traditional religion is practised whereby gods are served as the creators. But in the 18’s the introduction of Islam and Christianity became a new world event for Africans. The two religion found its way into the heart of the people, becoming the major religion in Africa, reducing the worshippers of idols to its smaller level. In Africa each household is either Muslim or Christian. But the term religion was introduced to make mankind love each other and be a devoted follower of God. With the current rise of religious powerful sect are now ruling the Africa society, due to the crowd they are controlling. The continent of Africa was faced with a lot of persistent problems ranging from corruption, insecurity, unemployment and other sorts of problem. Those who rose to leadership power in Africa are believed to be product of the church and mosques. It is also believed that the religious leaders don’t preach the truth since they collect pennies they get from politicians. Those religious leaders are not telling politicians the ills in the society, and how they have failed to govern the society. They keep pestering them and encourage them to bring money to the religious leaders to maintain a flamboyant lifestyle. For Africa to become a better society, the political elites must teach the religious leaders what they are supposed to be doing, by taxing them and encouraging more hard work, instead of staying all day long in the religious house. Those same powerful men who control churches have in recent time be telling their followers to drink pesticides, herbicides and other dangerous sorts of chemicals in exchange of miracles. In some instance, the religious leader is so powerful that in many homes in Africa 90% of housewives respect their religious leaders than their husbands. They sought after them for different issues and take them as almost their biological parents. So, to end the numerous problems facing our society, do you think the religious leaders in Africa should be restricted to certain things? And being taxed for collecting big revenues every month? In Africa today before you get to see two schools you have already seen 10 religious centres, mainly churches. This is where they take people into their cults to brainwash the locals on many untrue circumstances. Let’s take for instance, the insurgency problem facing northern Nigeria where the religious leaders are the major cause and influence behind the problems. We have numerous sects in the north apart from Boko Haram, like Shiia, ISIS, Al Shabab which is believed to be influence by the religious leaders. To end the problems of Africa, Religious Leaders must be regulated and encourage people to further their education curriculum instead of taking advantage of people’s vulnerabilities. http://nijabox.co.uk/are-religious-leaders-the-real-problem-of-nigeria/
