Every one knows the importance of paying tax. The question you should ask is why are people reluctant to pay tax? Federal Workers and employees of registered companies are "forced" to pay tax because it is deducted at source: given a choice they will not pay..Why? When the perception is that the taxes will not be put to work or the political class use the taxes to fund their excesses, why will anyone want to fund the lifestyle of a few from their hard-earned money? When the president moves in a 100-car convoy; that is tax payers money. When the president uses the presidential jet to UK and parks it for 107 days; that is tax payers money. Our leaders do not feel accountable to the people and do not feel they need to justify the use of public funds!! When people see their money put to good use; Good roads, Public transportation worth using, security, potable water from the taps etc.. a political class that don't turn to billionaires after a few years in power... then maybe, just maybe people will be willing to pay tax |
Milk ke? Ekiti people will use the milk as soup for pounded yam! |

What exactly would be his defence and justification for owning such amount of properties. Unless he can show he built it from legitimate earnings, o ti lor! He isn't the first to own such anyway, he is just on the wrong side of the fence and he went against the ambition and nearly even ended it so he is paying for stepping on toes! Godwin, seek audience with the King. Defect to the ruling party, make a sizeable donation to the re-election and youll be okay |
If I talk wetin I wan talk, antispam bot will ban me so here is my antispam bot comment No comment |
Straight out of Final Destination. |
calls the increase in the cost of living a bump! it was more like a meteoritic rise cos you "bumped" everything up at the same time without "bumping" up the earning potential of the citizens. Your aim was to "bump" up revenue by saving on the social benefits Nigerians derived. Granted, in the FCT we are seeing tremendous use of revenue to save us time wasted in traffic and repair costs to our vehicles from bad roads BUT the trade-off is that rents are "bumping" up too! No policy to arrest this and income is pretty much stagnant. In other states, you have put more money in the hands of governors but with all of the defecting to your party, can you actually open up any investigation if they do not put all this money to use for the people? Sir, you have done this and you are also destroying the country by turning it to a one-party state. Soon the senate will sponsor a bill to turn Nigeria to a parliamentary system cos the way you are going...there will be no opposition which is not good for democracy. All the best |
...and this is what you do! Deal with criminals in your community and parade them as thieves. Call out crime without fear and if a man is a ritualist, deal with him accordingly. You dont take a criminal, put him in a position of power and then defend him without sense and when others calls him out as a criminal you tag them names like .... |
Typing:I've answered this already! But I will answer it again for your sake. A banker is not someone who works in a bank. Example: The guy in white uniform sitting next to the entrance door when you step into a GTbranch who directs you to a counter or hands you a blank deposit teller. He tells you he works in GTbank and you call him a banker? The cashier who studies microbiology and collects the filled out teller and gives you money in exchange is a banker? The guy who studied electrical electronics sitting in the bulk room taking in large deposits is a banker? I'm sure you get the drift! |
Past EFCC chairmen have caused more shame than all the yahoo boys combined. Can you imagine the boss of an anti corruption agency sacked for corruption...Magu and Bawa That's a big shame .... Pastor, you know you are deceiving yourselves with the yahoo boys. After all the noise, you charge them to court on a charge of intention to cheat. The judge gives them community service to sweet court premises and they forfeit their device to the FG.... thats all! Go after the ones creating bigger shame ...the politicians |
Ah ah...this list was written by an Obidient! Where is Lagos City with its multi-million dollar houses and Eko Atlantic... so with its billon naira economy, it cannot enter top 10? Well...dress a pig up..its still a pig. Antispam bot..over to you |

Gadaffi9ja:What good has oil production done for any other community except destroying their lands and means of livelihood? The benefits goes to the oil companies, the FG and the state governors. The people suffer the damage. Had the ogoni clean-up worked? Nigeria is a fantastically corrupt nation and nothing will ever be done that benefits the people |
Orange man, defect in peace and stop looking for excuses to justify your decision. Nigeria is a mess...we are heading for a one-party state! States that would never vote APC are being turned by leaders who got power on other tickets and now defecting. We will learn a lesson |
Well...in order to protect your wife's honour, you will go to prison probably for the rest of your life...and the wife you sought to protect will most likely seek the comfort of another man. Love with sense |
Typing:A banker is not a bank worker. Tony Elumelu is a banker, Jim Ovia is a banker, Godwin Emefiele is a banker, Segun Agbaje is a banker, Herbert Wigwe was a banker...you get the gist Emeka that stamps transaction slips is a cashier and not a banker. Ngozi that gives you token or issues you a new card is not a banker, Tunde that works in bulk room is a money counter not a banker, Musa at the gate is the security man and not a banker. They are all bank workers |
Still the best apprenticeship model existing that sets up young ones for the future Unlike the model that gives children plastic plates to go out on the streets |
Funny thing is the bankers are never jailed! It is the bank workers who are jailed A bank worker is not a banker |
Question we should ask is why Sowore was dragging Peter Obi yesterday. Peter made a post referring to someone as Blackmailer-in-Chief. He didn't call any name. Sowore caught the sub, owned it and went to town with it . Oga 14,608 votes, are you a blackmailer? |
At least we will be able to say APC failed in Delta State. |
jamafa:Why should I? It wasnt my people being attacked and murdered, was it? |
So have all the concerns you voiced under Buhari been solved? Are killings not still going on in the SW as we speak? Why have you stopped agitating sir or you have suddenly developed table manners? |
Lagos is a glorified slum! Lagos is like that pig your dress up in a tie and suit and think youve created a gentleman but its still a pig! |
We have leadership that are not in touch with their senses! This is somebody that his governor built a glorified warehouse and called it an airport but he hasn't found his voice to say that this structure should be converted j to something useful rather it is settlements around the airport he can talk about! |

When CBN assures you, you need to be worried! Despite numerous letters and warning to the CBN that Heritage bank was distressed and they did absolutely nothing until the bank went under |
