No one is perfect, I admit, but when it comes to coexisting without ish, biko, give it to the Yorubas. I have recorded a handful of clash between Yorubas and Igbos either in Lagos or other SW states and I would say most stemmed out of disrespect for host. A handful of the things most Igbos would claim as rights in these parts can never be tolerated from a non Igbo in the East.

There are some parts of Yoruba land that are receptive to visitors, prolly because they don't receive them much or don't experience the presence of strangers much. However, they are not even recognized by non Yorubas, let alone considered.

The North is a pain to other areas. They have caused and unsettled other regions than other people have. Just early this year, Hausas and Igbos clashed on two different occasions that a market had to be temporarily closed.

Hate has never helped anyone. It is sometimes difficult to preach love to some IPOB youths that have let hate eat up their hate in all entirety but I'll try to be better than them. At least, a few of you have been able to convince me that there are Igbos that are reasonable, objective and filled with love, rather than hate.


I cannot hate the entire ethnic group for the crimes of a few that we meet online. It's just so sad that many of those filled with hate are those that come online to propagate it.

Igbo remains a great nation with hardworking people who struggle for their rights anywhere they are. I respect that and greatly admire that. Sometimes I even wish Urhobos were more like that.

At the end of everything, let our humanity guild us all.
