I bought this Sako 12v 1kva inverter today.
What influenced my decision is the hope that I’d use its 40a ac charger to charge my a lifepo4 battery. I didn’t want a modular setup where I’d buy inverter , controller, and ac charger separately.

Now, I unboxed it, checked the manual, and saw this: (pics attached)

Does it mean I can’t charge a 100ah 12v lifepo4 battery with it?

Cause that’s the main point of me buying this inverter, and I’m already regretting the purchase.

Sako should have indicated this on the carton and not tuck it away in the manual.

Of course you can. The part of the pics you sent is addressing Lead Acid battery charging and it also clearly shows the 40A (max) AC charging you speak of which is the reason you bought it in the first place so no worries there.

Not necessarily. It all depends on individual usage and plan. Your needs are specific to you and is not a one size fit all. Some people plan as far as 10 years down the line when taking these decisions.
Just as over panelling is highly encouraged, having a bigger inverter than your immediate need is also encouraged so long as you're not enjoying it any less than you should

You said No AC, no Heat Pumps, just Fridge Freezer and other regular appliances that wont pass 4KW… So why are you looking at 11KW and 12KW inverters. Have you heard of something called idle power consumption of inverters before? The bigger your inverter, the higher the idle power consumption(meaning you will waste more of your battery). If your load is not more than 4KW, just buy Growatt SPF 5000ES from Fouani. If your load increases above 4000W in the future, you can buy a second SPF5000 as it allows you to do parallel connection

He might not have a need for more than 4kw now but futureproofing himself should the need arise later on. He might also not want the extra work and/or need for space that comes with using multiple inverters so he's going for just the one big size and peace of mind. Nothing wrong with that even factoring idle consumption
