It should be noted though that I don't believe the majority of the SE will want their own country when you look at how things are in their place, many of them are not even willing to relocate back.... the govt can use this referendum of a thing to shut them up forever.

After this article, I am no longer going to be commenting on anything PO again, I have now fully seen the insincerity of the movement. Everyone of them has bitterly criticized the man PO in the past, but here we are today and they are all singing his praise. What has changed in PO for ppl to say so much good thing about him(when he has not had another opportunity to serve in another elective position and prove people's opinion about him being wrong after being a governor)? Nothing has changed really, the man hasn't changed, it's just the insincerity of his movement.

Have you not wondered why no major politician from the SE associates with PO's political aspirations? My own advise to my fellow Yorubas is that when Ibos are shouting, let them be and when they are tired, they will keep quiet. They love chestbeating.

I calmed down and allowed them to finish talking and next thing I told them was that if this country should break up, no Ibo will be allowed to stay freely in the SW, that we Yorubas will tell them all to pack up and go back to where they came from, you need to see how these guys went quiet, they were shocked to hear me say that, and that was when I realized that all these gra gra about Biafra na scam, even if you tell to leave, next thing they will hold on to is tribalism. I understand that they want to feel that they matter too in this country, but the way they have been going about it, even from their past leaders is what is causing them issues with others. You can't achieve anything meaningful through negative emotions, by stiring up hatred in the mind of your ppl towards others. A wise person should know that he does not have the monopoly to hatred and violence, others can hate and be violent too.

The other day, we read on the FP about the guy from SE that wants to relocate here to SW, does that show a ppl who want to develop their region? The fools among them here are based in the SW and will be talking about going back to the east en mass to develop their region just as they have helped others to develop theirs, but the reality on ground is that, everyday, they keep moving to the SW en mass in search of a better life. I have come to realize that they say the opposite of what they mean, very unreliable ppl. Now for the guy that we read his story on the FP, give him some years now, when he starts living a better life here in th SW, he will now turn his ungrateful mouth, and start seeing everything bad in the system, when their presence here is putting a lot of pressure on the limited resources.
