I want to add something from people transitioning into tech. It's important not to focus on "becoming" but on just "doing" Enjoy it, understand it. Don't put yourself under pressure by dreaming about fat remote salaries. All those come naturally when you have enough to offer. Heck even if they don't come you can build your own software and sell that shit or have a startup you can get $$$ for.
