Qualifications for all Positions: A minimum of a Good first degree in either Civil/Structural Engineering with First or Upper Second Class Honors.

Location (all positions): Lagos, Nigeria
Engineering Manager (Reporting to the Technical Director)

* Coordinate the technical activities of engineers, designers, and analysts
* Responsibility for the overall engineering work and calculations
* Ensuring that the end products are fit for purpose and meets the project requirements.
* Interface with clients’ representatives, third party participants and consultants
* Ensure all work is safe and carried out in a safe manner
* Ensure all work conforms to the codes and standards used by the client, or to agreed industry standards
* To assist all Structural Engineers
* To develop and maintain a quality design threshold for the structural discipline through use of understandable quality procedures
* Ensure Quality of engineering deliverables
* Review all inputs for engineering design and assessment
* To approve key engineering documents on behalf of operations
* To be involved in the development and acceptance of new technologies
* To provide input and review design basis documents at project start-up

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

* Registered professional engineer (USA, UK, COREN-Nigeria) or relevant in country of domicile
* 15 years practical experience in design, assessment, and construction of offshore/onshore oil and gas facilities, related to structural, marine, pipeline and geotechnical engineering.
* Sound knowledge of oil industry Codes/Standards (e.g. API, ACI, ABS, DNV, ASTM, ISO etc.)
* Good supervision and management experience
* Knowledge of analysis and design software such as SACS, ABAQUS, MSC-Nastran, USFOS, GRLWEAP, STAAD Pro, StruCAD, HYDROSTAR suites, etc
* Experience of projects in the Gulf of Guinea (West Africa) would be an advantage.
* Highly computer literate and with excellent communication skills

Principal/Lead/Project Engineer

* Coordinate Technical Team meetings
* Prepare project execution plan for review by Engineering Manager
* Prepare reports and contract documents
* Review calculations, verifications and analyses carried out for engineering work
* Prepare and present reports to Project Management Teams
* Adhere and contribute to project quality assurance

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

* Registered professional engineer (COREN-Nigeria) or relevant in country of domicile
* 8-10 years practical experience in design, assessment and construction of offshore/onshore oil and gas facilities, related to structural, marine, pipeline and geotechnical engineering.
* Sound knowledge of oil industry Codes/Standards (e.g. API, ACI, ABS, DNV, ASTM, ISO etc.)
* Good supervision and project management experience
* Knowledge of analysis and design software such as SACS, ABAQUS, MSC-Nastran, USFOS, GRLWEAP, STAAD Pro, StruCAD, HYDROSTAR suites, etc

Senior Structural Analyst & Design Engineer

* To ensure all analysis and design work is safe and carried out in a safe manner.
* To ensure all design work conforms to the codes and standards used by the client or to agreed industry standards.
* To assist other Structural Engineers working in the Structural discipline group
* Ensuring all Structural work is carried out within established budgets and schedules
* Perform structural assessment and design work required for offshore platforms, using SACS and USFOS, or any other similar software as specified by client
* Perform linear and nonlinear finite element analysis using programs such as MSC-Nastran, ABAQUS and ANSYS
* Writing of technical reports for projects

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

* Registered professional engineer (COREN-Nigeria) or relevant in country of domicile
* 5-7 years practical experience in design, assessment and construction of offshore/onshore oil and gas facilities, related to structural, marine, pipeline and geotechnical engineering.
* Sound knowledge of oil industry Codes/Standards (e.g. API, ACI, ABS, DNV, ASTM, ISO etc.)
* Good supervisory experience
