enugu is a civil service town. lagos is a proper commercial hub. you will have far more opportunities in lagos . it is however better you start without your family as rent, transport etal cost a lot.

because there is always development in lagos, there is always demand for building and therefore electrical materials

yes lagos smells - you can always blot that out with the smell of money. those who came to smell can go back to their fresh smelling and dead towns - those who came to hustle - make your money and ignore it.

Best advise so far.. go alone to Lagos and test the waters. Lagos is a land of many opportunities, but just pray to meet the right people who can help you.
