It hasn't been proven because your white master say so,so what happened to the lady that died despite being given your proven anti venom kayyyy44: Oga there is no proven local cure
The ones you people talk about is a case of non venomous snakes that bit someone and you people think the local herbs worked |
Health › Re: What Really Happens During A Snake Bite by Alaefulu(m): 3:15pm On Feb 07 |
May his soul rest well but bro believe me this snake is the most popular snake antidote we have in my village. AkpaMgbor: This my fellow Abian died because he believed his forefathers rhetoric. He was bitten by a gaboon viper (see the unique pattern on the snake). He was taken to a well known herbalist. Nearly 24 hours later his condition got worse and he was rushed to FMC Umuahia for them to perform magic. This young man wasted a full day survival window because he trusted the collective ignorance of those around him….I know your next argument will be “maybe the herbalist doesn’t know the right concoction”. |
Health › Re: What Really Happens During A Snake Bite by Alaefulu(m): 3:09pm On Feb 07 |
So what you telling me is all those people being bitten by snake and cured traditionally are snake that are not venomous or mildly venomous,I don't agry with you on that but the topic is helpful just like I said earlier AkpaMgbor: The cure “worked” simply because the snake wasn’t a venomous snake or at worst a mildly venomous one. And that is around 80 percent of most of the snake species in Nigeria. Most people will not even need to take any treatment if a mildly venomous snake like the night adder bites them in Nigeria ( I know this because it bit a worker on our construction site). |

We all reason differently and approach issues base on our believe, you can stick to everything the white man tells you when I choose the ones I can.so can you pleas explain while your white man anti venom couldn't also safe the lady AkpaMgbor: I have NEVER seen a people so proud in their stubbornness like Nigerians! Your forefathers that were bitten by really venomous snakes DIED. You have been educated on this thread on how a snake venom works and why drinking or applying any substance on a bite wound won’t do anything but keep on regurgitating your forefathers rhetoric. |
Health › Re: What Really Happens During A Snake Bite by Alaefulu(m): 2:55pm On Feb 07 |
Maybe alot from your axis died, I haven't heard of snake bite death while growing up because there are people with snakes antidote for snake bite in my place. Saying in times when their cure works is when the snake doesn't release venom is ridiculous, remember even the lady that was biten recently also died despite being given anti venom nairalanda1: And a lot of our forefathers also died from snake bite
The thing with snake bite is, there are two types of bites. The one where the snake injects venom and the one where it doesn't.
Before people all over the world believed that when bitten by a snake, poison was injected . Am sure awa forefathers thought their cure worked when in reality the times it worked was when the venom was not injected with the bite. |
Health › Re: What Really Happens During A Snake Bite by Alaefulu(m): 2:38pm On Feb 07 |
This is helpful, but I still disagree with the part you said there is no local cure to snake bite.our fore father's have been living with snakes and treating themselves of snake bite even before the white men came to explore Africa. |

Of all this you mentioned there is none relationship to the question I have ask.i know the political class have much blame to take but where this people with them over there while commiting the crime. Franking: Ask Tinumbu, Malami, Rochas Okorocha, Yahaya Bello, Emefiele, Akpabio, Oshiomole, Orji Uzor Kalu, Ganduje, El Rufa, Wike and all politicians who have held political offices in Nigeria.
After being governor for eight years and collecting very mouth watering packages monthly they are still at the Senate collecting fat allowances and constituency project money, living large with their family while you want other people to use their bare hand to fend for themselves.
If a benevolent spirit cracks your kernel you won't understand what others are passing through.
Nigerians have a terrible mindset and orientation...........divide the country so everybody will choose his own path. |
