FG can subsidize food items through them to make food affordable for Nigerians. This is exactly how it is done in abroad, that makes food to be affordable for all their citizens. Let government create a food relieve budget and make a deal with targeted producers and marketers of basic food items that are nationally consumed by all Nigerians, while govt agency in collaboration with task force can oversea smooth supply, price regulation and distribution of food items to ensure that the objective of the plan is successful.

Very good suggestions. My position is that instead of the govt sharing rice to state governors to distribute to the people,the government should rather transfer to the people's account to buy the rice by themselves since we no dey kukuma see the rice ,we only dey hear am for news
