I will include Finidi George, Gbenga Okunowo and Ganiyu Aziz too. Amunike did better in Portugal I think he was hampered by injuries when he moved to Barcelona.

What about Ramon Azeez

Goke7:
Finidi is a coward to say he can’t beg anyone to play for the eagles, the same players who played out their hearts during Afcon. That was subtle blackmail

How sure are you that he's referring to Afcon players
What if he's referring to FOREIGN BORN player's
You can't use your imagination to conclude what and why he said "I can't b g player to play for Nigeria"

Collin udoh

No, it was about the Eagles

It was about the situation in the Super Eagles. This is a summary.

1) Colin Udoh said that it was clear before the end of the Nations Cup that Paseiro was not staying. He said that the amount of money Paseiro was demanding for a new contract was crazy and that nobody would pay that amount, so it was clear that Paseiro had made up his mind to leave. He said that the NFF should have started searching for a successor right from that time.

2) He said that it was clear that the only friendly window that we had in the FIFA calendar was in March, so if we wanted a new coach we should have gotten one before the friendlies. Once Finidi took charge of the friendlies, it became clear that he was our only choice, because it makes no sense to appoint a new coach and his first match would be a world cup qualifier (without enough time to practice with the boys).

3) He said that President Tinubu has put a lot of pressure on the football authorities because he made it very clear that he wasn't happy with the results of the qualifiers. That's what led to the meeting between the sports minister, the NFF and Finidi.

4) He said that what Finidi actually said at the meeting was that he can't beg any player to play for the Super Eagles. Colin spoke to Finidi and to other people that were at the meeting. That's what Finidi actually said (he didn't single out any player), but some media outlets reported that Finidi said that he can't beg Osimhen to play for the Eagles. That's what led to Osimhen's outburst because he felt that his commitment was being questioned. Colin tried to call Osimhen, but he wasn't picking his calls, he sent him messages, but he hadn't replied by the time they did the spaces.

5) He said that Finidi did not resign because a technical adviser is going to be appointed, rather he resigned because of the way that the matter was handled.

The NFF held a meeting in which they resolved to hire a technical adviser. That meeting was held before the meeting between the NFF, the sports minister and Finidi, yet the NFF did not tell Finidi that they wanted to hire a technical adviser. Finidi flew home after the meeting and there was still no word from the NFF. It was when he got home that China Acheru called him and asked for his comments on the decision to appoint a technical adviser. Finidi said that it was fake news, but China sent him the NFF communique as evidence.

Finidi waited for a few days, but there was still no word from the NFF, so he tendered his resignation.

6) One of the reasons that the NFF appointed Finidi as coach is because they don't have the money to appoint a foreign coach. However, with the pressure from President Tinubu, they are going to find the money one way or another. Some people are talking about a presidential task force to help the NFF raise money and ensure that the Eagles qualify for the World Cup.

🎙 Formations, those are just jagons - Manu Garba U17 coach 🤣🤣

🎙Certainly, the post raises a pertinent question regarding the prevalence of formation deficiencies among Nigerian coaches. It is crucial for coaches to establish a formation and clearly define their team's strategic approach. Execution without a comprehensive understanding of the necessary tactics to counter opponents' strategies is insufficient.

Formation goes beyond merely positioning players; it serves as the foundation for providing instructions on how players should approach matches and respond to various situations. Football encompasses more than simply placing players on the field; it demands a coach with a profound understanding of the game, tactical proficiency, and effective in-game management skills to address unforeseen circumstances.

It is essential to clarify that not all Nigerian coaches share the same shortcomings.

Guirassy has 25 goals in the same Bundesliga. Boniface was not at the AFCON. Contributed little to nothing to Leverkusen passage to the Europa final. Might be in the top 10 but definitely not top 3. APOTY is about your contribution to your team's success at the top level!
Hakimi was at AFCON and contributed to PSG domestic league win and Champions league's push. Worthy!

Una forget haller of Borrusia Dortmund

bassey should start from the left wing back while omeruo takes his place in the LCB position

Zaidu is good in defensive just poor in offensive play... But I won't buy your idea because we easily switch to 5man defence when we're been Press

If APC doesn't present an ESAN candidate, I, a die hard APC supporter and Oshiomhole political son will be supporting and voting Asue Ighodalo.
It's an ESAN agenda and it's a movement both on ground and in the lips of every Edolites. APC better gives the ticket to Onolemhenmen, who is a well known Esan man compared to Ighodalo, else we will bury our own party in this election in Edo State.

Akpakomiza will snatch the party title

Onolemhemen is a no no

I'm going to buy a car next year
Currently I'm broke
But I know and believe 2024 I will own a car and 2025 I will buy this type of xiomi car

He's pure Esan boy from ewatto village under ubiaja local government
