Sheuns: Having held both phones ie the p2 and p5 I can tell that they are both good phones for their price range.
I would like to give a review of my own opinion on both phones. I am nothing not saying which is better than which; you will decide which suits you.
Build: I think the build of the p2 is way better of the p5. The p2 has a lighter and more comfortable in the palm and sleeker body when compared to the p5 which looks bulkier.
Internal
OS both devices use android 4.2.2 but gionee built a very beautiful ui for the p2. Tecno on the other hand decided to use stock android with just some little touches. And Gionee has OTA upgrade for the p2 and that means a higher version of android could be ported to the phone in the future. And this made the p2 have an edge over the P5.
RAM/ROM: Both devices have 512MB of ram with ROM of 4GB. That makes them even on that aspect.
Both devices run on dual core processors clocked at 1.3Ghz speed. Another tie here.
Camera: the p2 has a rear camera of 5.0MP and 0.3MP but the camera does not do so well when snapping in low light areas. On the other hand the p5
also has a 5.0MP rear camera and a 2.0MP front camera. In my own opinion I think the p5 camera takes better pictures than the p2. So here I think p5 won.
Battery backup: both phones have good battery backup when fully charged I think both phones last up to 12 hours on average usage. I mean standby, making calls, browsing and maybe a little gaming.
NB this is my own review on both phones. I'm not saying this is the better one you will choose whichever suits you.

evergreen247: That is ridiculous from you, I will advice you to do more research, you can't compare the efficiency of class 8, 10 to class 12 chip. These chips use different numbers of slot to manipulate different connection to data Networks and the higher the slot the more efficient for instance when class with 2 slot are struggling, the one with 4 slot will use the other two to establish link else where ( eg. Having 4 lines from PHCN pole, you can easily change line if the power is low in one line but person with 2 line will be stock with low current) this is different from total speed but it is the ability to manipulate available speed. You can do better than this please!
