The IDF says it has defeated Hezbollah's forces in every area that Israeli troops have so far operated in southern Lebanon.

According to the military's latest estimates, more than 1,200 Hezbollah members have been killed amid the ground offensive. In all, since October 2023, over 2,000 members of the terror group have been killed, the IDF says.

The military says it sees Hezbollah struggling to bring in reinforcements to counter the IDF's five divisions operating against it in southern Lebanon, and that the amount of weapons that the army has seized is having an effect on the terror group's ability to carry out attacks.

In terms of rocket capabilities, the IDF estimates that Hezbollah maintains about 30% of what it initially had before the war, which is still thousands of rockets.

But due to the elimination of Hezbollah's leadership, including numerous field commanders, the IDF says Hezbollah is struggling to carry out massive rocket fire that the terror group had initially planned.

The IDF still aims to wrap up its operations in southern Lebanon within a few weeks. Once the threat of a Hezbollah invasion is removed from the border area, residents of the north will be able to return to their homes[/font][size=8pt][/size].

Initial report - During IDF operations in the Gaza Strip, three terrorists were eliminated. The IDF and ISA are checking the possibility that one of the terrorists was Yahya Sinwar. At this stage, the identity of the terrorists cannot be confirmed.

IDF: The IDF Struck Hezbollah Terrorists Who Had Fired an Anti-Tank Missile at Troops

The troops of the Golani Brigade continue their limited, localized, targeted ground raids based on precise intelligence in southern Lebanon. Over the past day, the soldiers eliminated dozens of Hezbollah terrorists, both on the ground and from the air, in cooperation with the Israeli Air Force.

The soldiers located two storage facilities in a civilian area containing a large number of weapons including shells, Kornet missiles, numerous AT-3 Sagger missiles, and over 100 mortars. Additionally, in cooperation with Yahalom forces, four tunnel shafts were located that the terrorists used as shelters and weapons stockpiles.

In one of the operations, the soldiers spotted terrorists who fled after firing an anti tank missile at them. Shortly afterward, an IAF aircraft struck the terrorists.

Yesterday (Tuesday), the Deputy Chief of the General Staff, MG Amir Baram, held a situational assessment with the Commanding Officer of the 91st Division, BG Shai Klapper, the Commanding Officer of the 8th Brigade, COL Dori Saar, and the Commanding Officer of the Yahalom Unit, COL A, and spoke with soldiers during their limited, localized, targeted raids in southern Lebanon.

The Deputy Chief of the General Staff visited the underground compound that served as a command center for the "Radwan Forces," which was recently located by the brigade's soldiers in cooperation with Yahalom Unit soldiers who raided the area.

From the remarks of the Deputy Chief of the General Staff, MG Amir Baram: "For years, the 91st Division and the Northern Command have prepared for defense and containment against what Hezbollah called 'Conquer the Galilee.' It is powerful and pride-inducing that now we are operating in the area from which they planned to attack us, dismantling their infrastructure and plans. This is how it should be done—there is no other way. Continue with your high-quality and significant operational work, which will have an impact for years to come on us and on the Middle East."
