I keep telling people that there's nothing wrong with sports bet. If you play bet for fun just like you play your PlayStation, you will have no problem with it. Addiction is as a result of you trying to solve all your financial problems through it. Gambling will never make you rich or solve your financial problems. It can only give you few bucks to flex. when you win bet, you are not smart you are just lucky, the dangerous part of betting addiction is the illusion of control, football betting, casino, virtual lottery all are thesame thing GAMBLING. But football betting looks like something else where u can do analysis and come up with solution while in reality there is nothing you can do about it. playing barcelona to win deportivo alaves is same as rolling a dice you dont know what will happen and you have no control over it.
