Presidential spokesperson Daniel Bwala has blasted Senator Ali Ndume, who represents Borno South, for claiming that President Bola Tinubu has “attack dogs” who ignore facts and launch personal attacks.
Ndume made the statement during an interview on Arise TV, where he expressed concerns about the President’s appointments, saying they lacked fairness and federal character. He warned that after his interview, “attack dogs or Maga dogs” would likely target him for speaking out.
In response, Bwala called Ndume a frustrated politician and said it was wrong for him to repeatedly refer to government spokespersons as attack dogs without any pushback from the TV host.
Bwala posted on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “It’s amusing how a frustrated politician can appear on TV and call government spokesmen ‘attack dogs’ over seven times without being corrected. He spread false information without being fact-checked.
“But when a government spokesperson tries to respond, they’re interrupted before they can even complete a sentence, like a broken cassette from the 1980s. It’s sad.”
Mitsurugi: I just dey laff. There's no need for protest like someone said above. Precedence backed by the three arms of government is just being set so no one will cry foul tomorrow
Exactly 💯.
Tinubu has finally taught the opposition how Lagos state can be taken away from him and his family, and how the assigned administrator can go ahead to investigate all contracts and payments since 1999.
kabillion: Nobody says she can't visit her constituency but it will be without the accompanying fanfare. No noise, no siren just visit as a nobody but a suspended sex addicted olosho from the worst nightclub
But atleast you can never taste the position of her gateman in your entire life. You know I just said the truth 🤣🤣 and the truth is bitter 🤣🤣
shivisee: Protest is allowed and should be restricted to only government allowed area, the moment the FG get the impression that IPOBs have hijacked the protest, or overstepped their boundaries, full military brutality should follow!
press9jatv: GOV. SIM FUBARA’S LEGACIES THAT DWARF FALSEHOODS
While detractors continue to push narratives to justify the declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State, it is crucial to remind the world that Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s achievements in the past one year and ten months stand tall above any propaganda.
Healthcare: Gov. Fubara has revived numerous abandoned health facilities, including the remodeled and expanded Zonal Hospital in Bori, with similar projects in Omoku, Ahoada, and Degema. He also addressed the personnel deficit by employing over 2,000 health workers to boost efficiency, implemented the Rivers state Health Insurance Scheme as well as the approval for the remodelling of 153 primary health care centres in the state.
Education: His administration has prioritized education, remodeling key institutions and commissioning projects like the Okrika Grammar School and Government Girls Secondary School, Ahoada, while also working on Kalabari National College. To combat a decade-long stagnation, he has recruited 1,000 teachers, promoted civil servants, and implemented a new N85,000 minimum wage—far exceeding the national benchmark. He has also twice gifted N100,000 Christmas bonuses to the entire workforce, including pensioners.
Infrastructure: Despite political distractions, Gov. Fubara remains focused on delivering landmark projects. The 50.15km Port Harcourt dual carriage ring road, 12.3km Trans-Kalabari road, and 23.5km Elele-Umudioga-Ubimini-Ikiri-Omoku road are progressing steadily. He has commissioned critical roads such as the 11.8km Okehi-Umuola-Eberi road, 14km Omuma-Omodu road, and 23km Bori internal roads, among others, and flagged off more road projects across the state.
Beyond roads, he has strengthened traditional institutions by commissioning palaces and supported the judiciary by delivering seven blocks of five-bedroom duplexes for judges.
Security: Gov. Fubara’s synergy with security agencies is unmatched. He has donated a helicopter to the Nigerian Air Force, built housing for military personnel, and provided six gunboats to enhance maritime security. Additionally, over 100 operational vehicles have been given to the Nigerian Police, and Hilux vans supplied to NSCDC to curb pipeline vandalism. These measures have bolstered peace and attracted fresh investments to the state.
Governance & Assembly Complex: Contrary to claims that he neglected the Rivers State House of Assembly complex, Gov. Fubara had begun its reconstruction early last year, and it is now almost complete. Even the Sole Administrator confirmed the progress, exposing the misleading narrative that justified emergency rule.
The hurried decision to impose emergency rule, based on unverified reports, has raised concerns about the President’s neutrality. This move threatens to stall ongoing projects, as Gov. Fubara’s direct supervision of contractors ensured both speed and quality.
However, one thing remains undeniable before this unfortunate political interference, Rivers State was thriving under a people-focused leader.
No amount of falsehood can erase Gov. Fubara’s legacies, and in due time, he will reclaim his mission to uphold the #RiversFirst mantra for the benefit of all.
First governor to pay minimum wage of 85k.
Salaries paid when due.
Christmas bonus to all civil servant
Okrika grammar school
Scholarships to more than 200 Rivers people to Herbert Wigwe University.
This is a man that passed through the ranks, and knows what the people needs.
They are all angry with him because he has refused to share Rivers money.
Agbadorians that have never been to Rivers will still argue this for their monthly 100k..
Racoon: Giving a confirmed thug like Asari Dokubo a chieftaincy title? What the Bleep is wrong with Fubara? What moral are you promoting here? You have lost my respect sir.
As if you had one for him...
But you had respect for WIKE when he crowned King Ateke.
These guys were freedom fighters, they are better than some politicians you worship and campaign for.
After the rebuke he got from the Court of Appeal, he still chose to continue on this lawless path. The court held that Governor Fubara’s decision to present the 2024 Rivers State Appropriation Bill to only 4 out of 31 members of the Assembly constituted a gross violation of the 1999 Constitution, as amended. Also ordering him to re-present the budget of the State to the House under the recognised Speaker (Amaewhule) as contained in Justice Omotosho’s judgement, but he has refused.
The House presided over by the Speaker, Martin Amaewhule should begin the process of impeachment.
You guys been shouting impeachment for two years now 😂😂😂
richmond500: Thunder fire all those Wike supporters up there. Most of u will not want godfatherism in ur dilapidated state but wish it on Rivers state.
As for these comedians that call themselves house of assembly, why are they trying to amend the law now that the governor has said he wants to dig out the excesses of past administrations?
They have a group chat, paid to raid SM platforms.
So everyone supporting tinubu here is begging for money, don't b stupid n come off that shit
U Igbos have been known to b ungrateful n u people tend to bite d fingers that fed u, u have always pushed people against their helpers in d past n it has backfired
I can bet fubara case will not b different
Seems like an Igbo man snatched your wife/bae or he bought over your property??
This level of hate for Igbos can lead you to depression Sir. I am so concerned about your health.
Let go of the hate. You have a bright future ahead of you. Give yourself one year, you will blossom.
Coolestguy2023: Fubara think say he wise. He will learn the hard way and nothing will happen. He has been disobeying court orders carelessly but he will not have is way this time. Foolish people like fubara are the reason why state policing will not work in Nigeria.
*** If you quote me, na still your papa go read am and not me.
I will be waiting for your response tomorrow, after the announcement of results..
