Romance › Re: Marrying Into A Rich Family by Amaggedon: 7:54am On Aug 07, 2025 |
shortgun: Marrying Into a Family that's richer than you? Think Twice, Brother. That guy just made the biggest mistake of his life.
No matter how nice they smile, he’ll never be truly respected in that family. To them, he’s not the man their daughter should have married he’s the one she settled for. Behind closed doors, her parents are quietly disappointed and her father probably mocking him in silence.
The ugly truth is, when a man marries "up," he often sacrifices his dignity for comfort. Every small disagreement becomes a reminder of what he didn’t bring to the table. The power dynamic is off from day one.
My advice to men: Never marry into wealth thinking it’s a win. It often comes at the cost of your pride.
A man is nothing without his dignity and respect. Never trade that for fancy dinner tables and empty smiles. I dont think this is entirely true |

Business › Re: Banks once sent 'bewitching ladies' To Woo Me For Deposits – Femi Otedola by Amaggedon: 7:51am On Aug 06, 2025 |
FreeStuffsNG: “They would send bewitching ladies to make their offers more convincing, and now I was waking up to the sight of hefty, barrel-chested men standing menacingly in front of my gate, waiting for the moment I’d step out of my compound.” Please name the banks sir.
This was how the banks ruined that generation of female bankers and reduced them to corporate prostitution team.
If the regulators and professional bodies fail to sanction these morally-bankrupt banks, I hope that one or a group of the victims of that era will sue the banks some day. Banks never forced those ladies, and there is no way those ladies would come out as its was their decision to take that route to meet targets. They have other means of meeting their targets but chose sleeping with big men. |

How Liverpool failed to utilize Diaz is a wonderment.
Obedience4 Wiseone28 What do you mean by how liverpool failed to utilize diaz? Before he was signed by klopp didnt Barca see him? Or you forgot he won the league with liverpool? |

Politics › Re: President Goodluck Jonathan’s Birthday Message To Peter Obi by Amaggedon: 7:10am On Jul 20, 2025 |
PresidObi: Goodluck Jonathan sold fuel to us for 87 naira.
He was a good man with a good heart
Peter Obi can sell fuel to us for 40 naira when he has gotten rid of all the evil people in the oil industry and oil marketing cartels. He can do this easily and the common man can enjoy this country as inflation will crash.
With 200 naira, you can walk into a good eatery and eat a very good meal and drink soft drink or bottled water to wash it down.
We all love you Peter Obi, happy birthday Sir.
God bless you. When i started having resentment for some folks here is when they started rationalising when they cant protest buhari's hike in petro price, while they wanted to burn down the country. |
Politics › Re: Aminu Tambuwal’s 64th Birthday Message To Peter Obi. by Amaggedon: 12:02am On Jul 20, 2025 |
seunmsg: Aminu Tambuwal? As in the Tambuwal that we all know is who you’re rejoicing over his message? Maybe some of you don’t understand what this politics is all about. That dude has betrayed every single person that made him who he is today. He won’t even think twice before throwing a Peter who had never supported him in anyway before under the bus.
All these ChatGPT birthday messages are simply to deceive and nothing else. Tambuwal will never support Peter for president. They are only romancing him to either be VP candidate or not contest at all. Abd why are the first to cry here? Is it not suppose to give your joy |

Politics › Re: Nothing Wrong With Fuel Subsidy Removal - Peter Obi by Amaggedon: 4:53pm On Jun 09, 2025 |
madridguy: Peter Obi is completely empty and only people with bias minds will find him interesting. The way he sounds like a crying bird always off me.
The interview is a complete waste of time. If you want yo talk about someone who is empty you obviously cant mention someone like PO in anyway except may be your emptiness is making it look like he is the one who is empty |
Politics › Re: Amaechi’s ‘Not Igbo Comment’ Treacherous – Ohanaeze by Amaggedon: 7:06am On Jun 07, 2025 |
Tranquill: When Amaechi was addressed as “Our Igbo son” in Abia State by the then Ohaneze president Joe Irukwu, during the reception in honour of Arunma Oteh, he promptly took the mic and said “I am a proud Ikwerre son and not Igbo. This was over 15 years ago. At a radio Station in Lagos when he was governor, he was asked if he was Igbo and he said No.
Igbo people continued to call him an Igbo man so when he was campaigning for Buhari against Jonathan he used that advantage to tell the crowd that he was more Igbo than Jonathan and Igbo people started cheering him. Is there any where in the world where someone would overnight say he belongs to an ethnicity that he never identified with and then you take that as indelible fact?
Only Igbo people would see someone whose mother, father, none of the siblings is Igbo but assume that person can become Igbo overnight. If this is not stupidity of the highest order then I don’t know what it is. There was never a time igbo people betrayed jonathan. You people mistake few polictical allies to an entire race or ethnic nationality, is an indepth level of ignorance, as there are thousands of igbos who do not share same sentiment with what he said . |
