What took place? Jadon Sancho was acquired by Chelsea from Manchester United after the 11 p.m. transfer deadline. The 24-year-old will join the Blues at Stamford Bridge on a first-year loan with a buyout option after the teams reached an agreement with Manchester United.

Reasonable? Things were a little unclear when we initially learned of the Sancho rumors. Not because of the player specifically—everyone knows his extraordinary talent.

Rudy Fernandez announced his retirement from professional basketball on Friday, and Real Madrid honored him.

Fernández had declared his intention to give up competitive tennis sooner.

Real Madrid, however, paid tribute to one of their greatest historical figures with thanks and affection in a statement posted on their website.

Part of Real Madrid’s statement said, “Following Rudy Fernández’s announcement of his retirement as a professional basketball player, Real Madrid C. F. would like to express its gratitude, affection, and admiration to one of the greatest legends of our club and world basketball.”

The former Transportation Minister, Rotimi Amaechi, has been accused by Tony Okocha, the ousted Caretaker Committee Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, of plotting to take over the party in the state and challenge President Bola Tinubu in 2027. Okocha, however, has vowed never to let Amaechi and his alleged stooge, Emeka Beke, have their way against Tinubu.

Well-known actor Yul Edochie comments on the continuing spat between Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye, also known as PSquare, and suggests they should separate.

The brothers had split up for the second time over a plethora of problems. Paul Okoye, one brother, had accused Peter, the other brother, of treason.

Conor Gallagher’s projected move to Atletico Madrid is reportedly in danger of falling through at the last minute, therefore Chelsea has requested him to return to England.

A prominent member of the infamous group of millionaire kidnappers who was slain during their raid at Ladipo Market last month has been identified by detectives from the Lagos State Police Command’s Special Squad Unit.

Before this, just one gang leader—well-known Nollywood actor and producer Prince Henry Ode from Port Harcourt—and around four of his film industry associates who were also involved in the violent altercation with the police had been recognized.

The dramatic moment occurs when Apostle Jeremiah Fufeyin’s healing items are taken to NAFDAC by controversial activist Verydarkman, who is filing a complaint.

According to Gistreel, the social critic has been criticizing the chief prophet of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry for purporting to offer miracle goods to followers.

The apostle, however, had hit Verydarkman with an N1B lawsuit, which had the opposite effect of stopping him in his tracks.

It was disclosed in an earlier report that Verydarkman tested the therapeutic items by bringing them to the homes of the crippled.



Verydarkman has disclosed that he has brought the miraculous product—which lacks a NAFDAC registration number—to the NAFDAC office to file a complaint.

The Nigeria Police Force announced on Friday that it has invited Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh to its headquarters as part of an investigation into accusations including forgery, cyberbullying, and criminal defamation.

Force PRO ACP Muyiwa Adejobi acknowledged that the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Monitoring Unit, is in charge of the case, and it was on their command that the invitation was sent out.
