great work and I salute you all , I submitted my TRV as a tourist on 17/ 08 and just got my app rejected for these reasons; travel history, purpose of visit , insufficient funds. I submitted my statement of Acct with bal of 1.2million and company acct of 12.18m , family details(marriage cert and children birth cert) ,flight and hotel reservations booking ,itinerary , drawing plan,west Africa travel history and other letters. pls I will to know the amount needed and when next one can apply.tnx



How long was ur proposed visit, are u travelling alone? What do u do in nigeria and what is your age range. Did u submit paper or online?

I mumuciously heed to stupid agent so got stupid rejection.
7days visit, alone with my head , am a construction estimator /QS but the man arranged me as sales manager after giving him my details ,he filled the form for me even as married with certificates , too late to correct my rubbish of being desperate ,age 30-33, filled online but submitted paper..... joined this thread to learn my ABC.....hope it wnt mar my cic and nearest chances of applying with my real status

You are muddling different issues together, TRV has got nothing to do with what we are doing here and, let me advice that you wait till you get ECA before applying for EE. The reference number that will be on your ECA Certificate will be requested while filling EE Form so, wait till you get it cuz if you formulate one for yourself and it gets transmitted before you get the real one, it might be trouble later even if you change the details.

Note that family connection and job offer are not needed to be eligible for EE, maybe there's some,thing else that is making your applicatio disqualified, it could possibly be the funds you are quoting or if you indicated that you dont have ECA

The snags I see in your application :

1. Travel history : west Africa is not a credible destination for many visa officers. Try and visit some western countries before reapplying.

2. Who own the account with 12 million?. It's easier to use sponsors for study permit than visiting visas. They will think you are not up to it.

3. Drawings of a building does not signify ownership. I can sit down with my architect friend to draw anything. Documents that show ownership includes c of o, registered survey, deed of assignments, governors consent, etc.

I can go on and on. My advise is to build up your home ties further before reapplying
